A lot of fashion events this past week but I think Vogue’s 11th Anniversary takes the cake! Friends, ex-couples, reunions, lovers – everywhere!
I love friendships like this. No matter what you did in your past, they know you then and now and love you for it. Ruby Lin recently went on a vacation to Japan with her girlfriends, namely Shu Qi and Kelly Lin, and Shu Qi posted a weibo message, “Vacation trip with four girls!” attached along with the picture of only them three. Ruby then replied with “Girl Power,” confirming everyone’s train of thought.
Congratulations! Ruby and Wallace now have a princess! A beauty is being made. Hehe!
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!! BEST NEWS EVER!! I woke up to this kind of news!! I burst into tears the moment I read the headline about these two lovebirds (and still crying as I type this…) They have gone through a lot of bullcrap thanks to the showbiz world in the past two decades. Confessing to knowing each other for 20 years and secretly dated for four years (riiightt), they have…. gotten married. They won’t be holding a fancy wedding banquet and only release a simple wedding photoshoot to announce the happy news. And no, he says, P.S She’s not pregnant. WHY NOT? MAKE BABIES YOU BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!!

I know. Another Bali location!! Someone send these celebrities a few exotic suggestions! Anyhoo, it’s time to send off the other original Pearl Princess in our hearts. Such a strange feeling I still have for Wallace and Ruby, like it’s not real. They revealed their romance just a few months ago and the wedding also happens just as quickly. But having acted together before, the seed of romance was probably planted a long time in the shy boy and outgoing girl. It might not have been the right time then, but they still found their way back together and made it work. Now it is both the right time with the right person. Nothing beats that. ;]

Can’t believe I’m doing Part 2 for this darn festival! If yesterday was for local TV dramas, today is the hottest star gathering in the movie world.
Caught a break and went to watch The Jungle Book with my little boy. Seems like the running theme in all Disney movies is identifying and enhancing one’s sense of self (be the best of you!) Haven’t watched the original movie or animation series, but I enjoyed the movie and loved it quite a bit. Baloo and his jokes got me rolling.
