The Vanishing Beauty (美人余) is adapted from the novel written by Yi Bei. It focuses on women’s awakening, beyond the struggles of marriage and family, and reflects on their tenacity and resilience in today’s society. At the center of the story is our female lead, a famous blogger, envied by others for being lucky in love and in life. However, her perfect life cracks on the day of her fifth wedding anniversary and she’s thrown into the arena of dangers. Looks like Qiao Zhen Yu will be playing her scheming husband and Chang Hua Sen will take on the divorce lawyer role.

New Jin Yong Wuxia Universe announces air dates for the remaining Four Parts of Drama Series

I’m gonna try to understand what’s going on here Lol. I thought it was just a 5-part drama series focusing on the Five Greats of the Condor trilogy from Jin Yong’s novels. But now it looks like there’s a main part, the drama that aired last year The Legend of Heroes (金庸武侠世界), a remake of Legend of the Condor Heroes, then there’s a sequel/The Legend of Heroes Season 2, with no promo in sight. The second part consists of a 5-part drama series; with part 1 Hot Blooded already aired last year. Are you confused yet? XD

New Jin Yong’s Condor adaptation, The Legend of Heroes, drops new trailer

The Legend of Heroes (金庸武侠世界) is a 5-part drama series focusing on the Five Greats (methinks) of the Condor triolgy from Jin Yong’s novels with a total of 60 episodes and directed by 5 directors. It was called New Jin Yong Wuxia Universe for a while until the new trailer dropped last night with a new name.

Wu Jin Yan as the Fighting Youth caught between Yin Tao and Liu Min Tao’s power struggles

What a wonderful opportunity for Wu Jin Yan to be acting and learning alongside these power actresses!

Fighting Youth (正青春) is a modern drama following the journey of rookie salesperson, our female lead, played by Wu Jin Yan, as she gains favors from a sales division director of a cosmetics company, played by Yin Tao. Because of her constant achievements, the higher ups want to replace another boss (played by Liu Min Tao) with Yin Tao’s character. Unwilling to be replaced, Liu Min Tao’s character maneuvers her next chess piece. And thus begins the war of professional women in corporate.

Guys With Kids with Bosco Wong, Luo Yun Xi, and Liu Guan Xiang confirms air date after five years

Let’s see. My last post of this drama was in 2015! 😱

And what a time to announce its broadcasting date, with a drama title like that in a time like this. 👀

Guys With Kids (奶爸当家) stars Bosco Wong, Luo Yun Xi, and Liu Guan Xiang as a group of single men living together. Our main hero, plays by Bosco, recently lost the custody for his daughter. Then his first love died in a car accident and wanted her surviving infant son to be given to him. He also needs to find the baby’s daddy in the mean time. What ensues is a hilarious showcase of love and connection in a makeshift family. The three dads with three distinct personalities. Bosco is the nerdy, doormat dad, Luo Yun Xi is the hot-headed young daddy, and Liu Guan Xiang is the athletic and sensitive dad.

Beautiful Reborn Flower with Song Wei Long and Lin Yun confirms broadcast in May

From the author An Ni Bao Bei who gave you the movie, Qi Yue and An Sheng aka SoulMate with Sandra Ma and Zhou Dong Yu, Beautiful Reborn Flower is another novel of hers getting adapted for television and Song Wei Long and Lin Yun are the main leads. This time Lin Yun is challenging herself with two roles, one is an introverted writer and the other is a free-spirited woman (pre and post amnesia personalities), while Wei Long finds himself in yet another rebellious role. I don’t think I have to write up the storyline, the english-subbed trailer reveals everything already. Lol.
