First Impression: What do you think of Wallace Chung and Maggie Jiang’s Memories of Love (Yi Lu Fan Hua Xiang Song)?

Who’s the luckiest girl in dramaland right now? Maggie Jiang! Being romanced by Jin Dong in Mr. Right, and now Wallace Chung and Aaron Yan in Memories of Love. Mr. Right had a solid run with great ratings, which left the hot seat for MOL to do well to maintain that high. It airs 2 episodes every day, except for the weekends, one episode each day.

If you’re watching, let other fans know of your thoughts!

Aaron Yan sings for Wallace Chung’s The Road to Bid Farewell is filled with Flowers

Despite not having the youthful look like many other actresses in her age group (which to me is a big PLUS), Maggie Jiang is pretty lucky so far in her acting projects. Here she’s romancing Wallace Chung, with puppy Aaron Yan hanging around loyally, and a rock star dad in Christopher Lee!

First trailer for Wallace Chung’s The Road to Bid Farewell

The Road to Bid Farewell is filled with Flowers (一路繁花相送) is adapted from the novel of the same name written by Qing Shan Luo Ta, starring Wallace Chung, Maggie Jiang, Aaron Yan, Li Sheng, and Christopher Lee. I know the storyline is typical with youthful love that extends and lingers, reuniting the love birds ten years later, but I’m kinda speechless staring at the stills released so far. The bright colors and the oh-so-pretty cast members with respectable hair and nice clothes.

It’s sooooooooooo pretty… *_____* I could imagine all the click-and-save motion.

First stills of Wallace Chung’s The Road to Bid Farewell is filled with Flowers

Still without an official English name, I’ll continue to call the upcoming modern drama The Road to Bid Farewell is filled with Flowers (一路繁花相送, Yi Lu Fan Hua Xiang Song) written by Qing Shan Luo Ta. It stars Wallace Chung and Maggie Jiang in a love story gone wrong during their youth and given a second chance. Yep. That’s all drama characters do nowadays, long for the past, never moving on. How romantic! Lol. The stills look pretty so far, everyone is on point in hair and fashion. Surprise!

Maggie Jiang, Aaron Yan join Wallace Chung’s modern drama

As announced a few weeks ago in the batch news, the said new modern drama is adapted from the novel loosely translated to The Road to Bid Farewell is filled with Flowers (一路繁花相送) by Qing Shan Luo Ta. Wallace Chung was the first person to confirm. This guy is a busy bee. Today, the leading lady has been revealed to be Maggie Jiang, who is currently enjoying popularity for her role in To Be A Better Man. I personally haven’t watched it so no comments from moi. To round out the love triangle, Taiwanese actor Aaron Yan picks this as his last project before his short break from the showbiz to study abroad.

EDIT: The original novel has two couples in the end, or so I’ve heard. I’m thinking that they will play up the love triangle (how could they not let Aaron brood?) but he will get his own girl in the end.
