How’s your New Year so far folks? I’m gonna party all weekend with family and friends. It’s a long weekend for me too since I don’t have work on Monday! YESHHH BABY!! I only managed to compile a few TV stations down below. I’ll try to update more when I’m sober? ^_^
With my new job, I don’t have a lot of spare time these days like before, especially on week days. Won’t be able to cut and upload individual clips so you guys have to work those warrior fingers through the scrolling button! Lol.
The Chinese remake of Jdrama Shinya Shokudo, which was also based on a Japanese manga series by Yarō Abe has finally let us peek inside its characters and their moving stories. It’s rare to have a modern Cdrama trailer that is this quiet and yet still effective in stirring one’s emotions. The adaptation boasts a solid casting, inviting big names from both Mainland China and Taiwan. For the full list, please visit its previous post here.
Midnight Diner (深夜食堂) is the Chinese remake of Jdrama Shinya Shokudo, which was also based on a Japanese manga series by Yarō Abe. The story follows a mysterious chef and his late night diner open from midnight to dawn, featuring ordinary stories from his patrons every night as they chatter and eat the one requested dish. Various stars from both China and Taiwan will be making an appearance including Mark Zhao, He Jiong, Janine Chang, Hu Bing Qing, etc.
Yes! More weddings! It’s not labor day weekend anymore but weddings weekend. Lol. Are you seeing a trend too? Most of the beloved Taiwanese stars that we grew up watching are getting hitched one by one! 2016 is a good year for all the lovebirds out there. Is anyone in our readers walking down the aisle too? All I have to say is… Keep Loving you people. Keep them coming. ;D
Totally forgot about this project!! Another variety show with your favorite stars in the mix, up and ready to jump over obstacles thrown at them! Boran Jing, Nick Wang Kai, Jackson Wang, Bai Jing Ting, Jam Hsiao, and Yang Shuo are the members for the latest Jiangsu variety show called Fighting Man (我们战斗吧). This is something I’ll watch purely for the bromance. Lol.
Caught a break and went to watch The Jungle Book with my little boy. Seems like the running theme in all Disney movies is identifying and enhancing one’s sense of self (be the best of you!) Haven’t watched the original movie or animation series, but I enjoyed the movie and loved it quite a bit. Baloo and his jokes got me rolling.
