A Mature Romance between Wallace Huo and Zhu Zhu in modern drama Why Is He Still Single?

Why Is He Still Single? (他为什么依然单身) is a remake of Japanese drama He Who Can’t Marry (結婚できない男) starring Abe Hiroshi back in 2006.

Synopsis per Wetv: A story about a man who seems eccentric but is, in truth, kindhearted, and how the world ultimately accepts him. Through the portrayal of a man with extreme quirks, the film delivers endless humor and sharp banter while prompting reflection on human nature and our relationship with the world. He’s a man who loves life but, in his forties, declares himself a “non-marrier”. Is he the adored male idol surrounded by admirers, or the straight man women steer clear of? Is it that he doesn’t want to marry, or can’t? When this quirky bachelor finally meets the woman of his dreams, how will he handle it and will he win her heart in the end? As the saying goes, “There is no fixed flavor in food; what suits the taste is the best”. Likewise, there’s no man who truly refuses marriage, only one who hasn’t yet met the right match.

Upcoming dramas release New Trailers at the Tencent Video 2025 Preview Party

Just a reminder, I only included trailers since I will be including the posters in their individual posts in the future, no need to repeat for more work. The videos may take a few extra seconds to load since Tencent youtube sucks by not uploading anything and therefore I had to use mostly twitter for videos.

Wallace Huo and Sandra Ma spark chemistry in movie Somewhere Winter

I rarely watch films so it’s nice to see two actors in dramaland reunited in the big screen, hoping that it will make up for their lackluster chemistry in Love Me If You Dare. Lol. The movie is inspired by Chyi Chin’s song and he later contacted Rao Xue Man to write a novel, which the movie is based on. Our two characters meet each other at a Chyi Chin concert and thus begins a 30-year romance across three cities.

Somewhere Winter premieres in theaters on 11/15!
