New Kung Fu Cult Master aka The Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre (倚天屠龍記) is set 20 years after the event of Jet Li’s Kung Fu Cult Master released back in 1993. Taking on the older character of Zhang Wu Ji is Raymond Lam and Janice Man as the love of his life – Zhao Min, along with other TVB veterans.

Nostalgia alert!! Back To the Past (寻秦记) is a movie continuation of the drama in 2001. OMG. Seeing everyone in the skin again after 20 years together is surreal. They managed to invite back all of the main core characters – Louis Koo, Raymond Lam, Jessica Hsuan, Sonija Kwok, Joyce Tang, and Michelle Saram. Sadly, there’s no Kwong Wah, but there are a few more familiar faces in the supporting cast as well. AWWWWWWWW. The story follows a group of men led by Max who accidentally time-travel to the past and begin using modern technologies to disturb the warfare of Qin Shi Huang (Raymond Lam), forcing him to seek the help of his master Xiang Shao Long (Louis Koo).

Adapted from Li Xin’s novel, Unmatched In This World (独步天下), Hong Kong actor, Raymond Lam, is portraying Qing Emperor, Hong Tai Ji in palace drama, Rule the World. Playing his main lady love is Tina Tang Yi Xin (The Legend of Chusen) and Zhang Rui plays Daišan, an older half-brother of Nurhaci’s successor, Hong Taiji. A lot of princes in here too ~

The premise follows a mortal man who accidentally time-travels to the past and finds himself the Monkey King. Not willing to accept a fate forced on himself, he sets out to change the course of the future.
