Hi Drifters! Back with another convince me/mini first impressions podcast, this time, about a lesser-known drama called Qing Qing Zi Jin! Adapted from Wu Yu’s novel “Gong Xue Has Bandits” this historical romantic-comedy has intrigued two of our AVV staff members, Lin and Wuxiarocks, and they try and convince Amy to watch. Will they be successful? Listen to find out :))
This drama is certainly easier to watch then our previous recommendation and would be something that can easily fill any time slots for dramas that may have recently ended *cough cough* 😉 Despite its rookie cast, this drama can bring you laughter and tears, as it explores a more cultural topic: poetry. Our staff members have also given it the thumbs up when it comes to awesome fight scenes, so we know it won’t be a disappointment in that aspect!
As mentioned in the previous post, here’s an updated poll for you to take, please please take it, we’d greatly appreciate it! It’s currently empty so we haven’t been able to reflect on our past episodes, so I hope you all can help us out!
The more feedback we receive the more we’re able to tailor future episodes to what you would like to hear us discuss. We started our podcast to bring to life drama discussions and it wouldn’t be the same without input from our audience.

If there are any other dramas that you wish to hear our input on or would like us to watch for a first impression podcast, then please comment below, and you may hear about it in our next episode! We are still on a bi-weekly release schedule, however, first impression episodes are typically released right away so that listeners can listen in for our opinions before the drama is entirely aired.
Thanks for taking the time to read through this post! We hope that this new format is entertaining and that those of you still in quarantine, or not, can find something new and fun to watch, or that our banter can accompany you throughout the day!
