First Stills for republican drama A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains with Zhang Ruo Yun, Liu Shi Shi, and Wang Yang

A Panorama of Rivers and Mountains (千里江山图) is adapted from the novel written by Sun Gan Lu.

Synopsis per TMDb: In 1933, a Communist spy meeting was betrayed. Agent Chen Qian Li (Zhang Ruo Yun) races to uncover the traitor and secure a critical mission amid relentless enemy pursuit.

Man, this cast is pretty insane! A lot of friendship guest stars (Guan Xiao Tong, Zhang You Hao, Sun Yi, etc) with Liu Shi Shi billed as a special appearance. They announced 3 more names at the CCTV’s drama lineup today: Li Lan Di, Peng Guan Ying, and Angel Wang Ou as guest appearances too.

New Cdrama Trailers at the 2026 Tencent Video V Vision Conference

And the last compiled post for me! I won’t be doing these posts in the future because it’s too time-consuming and usually by the time I put the post up, most have seen the trailers on other platforms. No point in me rehashing another version. As always, I only included dramas with trailers since the stills will be in their individual post.

For those new to this routine, each streaming platform (tencent, mango, youku, iqiyi, etc) has a few conferences each year to showcase their upcoming dramas, roping in potential advertisements and interest.

Air date announced for Liu Shi Shi and Zhang Yun Long’s Fox Spirit Matchmaker 2: Love in Pavilion

First up: Fox Spirit Matchmaker 2: Love in Pavilion (狐妖小红娘竹业篇) can be watched as a standalone drama. You do not need to watch the supposedly first installment Red-Moon Pact with Yang Mi and Gong Jun.

Synopsis Per Qiyi: It tells the story of Dongfang Huaizhu (played by Liu Shishi) and Wangquan Hongye (played by Zhang Yunlong), the leaders of two major families, the Dongfangs and the Wangquans. In a time when humans and demons are in conflict, they work together to stabilize the situation in order to revive the Unity Alliance. On the seventh day of the seventh month, at the Bamboo Pavilion by the Huai River, their fates intertwine like the sheaths of two swords, never to be separated. They pick up the most heartwarming promise and tell a story that has endured for generations. Liu Shi Shi carefully plots revenge in Kill My Sins while Shawn Dou takes advantage to rise in power

Kill My Sins (掌心) is a female-centric revenge costume drama.

Synopsis Per Youku: The story follows Ye Ping’an (played by Liu Shishi), a heart doctor who arrives in Shengdu to investigate an old case. Rumors spread that she manipulates hearts and minds, earning her the title of “witch.” When a sudden murder occurs, she’s accused of the crime. Yuan Shaocheng (played by Dou Xiao), an ambitious official, realizes there’s more to the case yet still seeks to have her executed. But Ye Ping’an has already made her first move on the path to vengeance.

Airing 2/7~

Mr. 1,000 Watts Smile is back but his smile is not seen in the intense trailer at all. Same goes for Shi Shi. Will this be my first 2025 drama?

Revenge Costume drama Kill My Sins confirms leads in Liu Shi Shi and Shawn Dou Xiao

Kill My Sins (掌心) is a female-centric revenge costume drama. Our heroine hails from a physician family, intelligent and talented. But at a young age, her skills in hypnosis (?) was used by those in power to seduce young girls. When the crimes were leaked, court Counselor tried to gather evidence to charge the officials involved, but all evidence disappeared over night and he found himself and his clan falsely accused, leading to the deaths of his entire family. Our heroine’s family was hunted down and exterminated, and she is the lone survivor. Eighteen years later, she comes to Chang’an as a wandering physician under a different name. Our hero is a young magistrate who lusts after power, he’s cold and ruthless. Even though he’s talented, he’s looked down by other officials for not being of noble blood. Their paths cross when one of her patients die and she’s the last person at the crime scene. He’s in charge of the case. Although he senses something is amiss, he’s too eager to pin the blame on our heroine to rise the ranks. But is our heroine truly innocent, or has the wheels of vengeance already started? MUAHHAHHAHAH. Ok, I added in the last part. XD

Booting ceremony is held today! Other cast members I see: Zheng Ye Cheng and Xuan Lu.
