First Trailer for Wallace Chung, Angelababy’s General and I

General and I is adapted from the novel Gu Fang Bu Zi Shang or A Lonesome Fragrance Waiting to be Appreciated (孤芳不自赏) written by Feng Nong. It stars Angelababy as a very “plain” looking woman who wants to be valued by her intelligence. She’s kidnapped and sold to the enemy of her master, where she schemes a new identity and charms everyone around, hoping to return to her original lord. However, new territory brings new faces, and a handsome general (Wallace Chung) engages her in a battle of wits, love, and loyalty. Smexy.

Looks like Wallace is probably gonna own the first half of 2017 with his attractive dramas.

First trailer for Wallace Chung’s The Road to Bid Farewell

The Road to Bid Farewell is filled with Flowers (一路繁花相送) is adapted from the novel of the same name written by Qing Shan Luo Ta, starring Wallace Chung, Maggie Jiang, Aaron Yan, Li Sheng, and Christopher Lee. I know the storyline is typical with youthful love that extends and lingers, reuniting the love birds ten years later, but I’m kinda speechless staring at the stills released so far. The bright colors and the oh-so-pretty cast members with respectable hair and nice clothes.

It’s sooooooooooo pretty… *_____* I could imagine all the click-and-save motion.

Ma Tian Yu’s Liang Sheng and His Grief Party releases first stills

Hah. It’s official. I’m renaming this drama. From Liang Sheng, Can We Not Be Laden With Grief (凉生我们可不可以不忧伤) to the above, which is more like it. Just a day after announcing their official cast members, the production releases a batch of stills to whet your growing appetite for the melodrama. Lol.

Liang Sheng Can We Not Be Laden With Grief confirms Wallace Chung, Ma Tian Yu, Sun Yi

Okay, okay. I know I’m not the best translator. Lol. A salute to all translators out there cause some of these titles be long and poetic. The upcoming melodrama adapted from novel 凉生,我们可不可以不忧伤 (Liang Sheng Wo Men Ke Bu Ke Yi Bu You Shang) written by Le Xiao Mi has confirmed its main cast in Wallace Chung, Ma Tian Yu, Sun Yi, Alan Yu Meng Long, and Zoey Meng Zi Yi. Our two young leads have been filming for a while now and it looks like it’s time for Wallace to jump in and scoop up the leading lady. Anyone up for a better title translation? 🙂

The important thing is the script and dare I say the author is very twisted and I’m kinda out. Lol. Which sucks because it’s Ray Ray and I want to see him in a happy role. Universe, why you do this to me?!

First stills of Wallace Chung’s The Road to Bid Farewell is filled with Flowers

Still without an official English name, I’ll continue to call the upcoming modern drama The Road to Bid Farewell is filled with Flowers (一路繁花相送, Yi Lu Fan Hua Xiang Song) written by Qing Shan Luo Ta. It stars Wallace Chung and Maggie Jiang in a love story gone wrong during their youth and given a second chance. Yep. That’s all drama characters do nowadays, long for the past, never moving on. How romantic! Lol. The stills look pretty so far, everyone is on point in hair and fashion. Surprise!
