Still find it hard to believe Li Yi Feng & Angelababy won the Hundred Flowers award. Most of the acting winners this year are idols. I haven’t watched Mr Six & Mojin, so I don’t have any opinion on LYF & AB’s acting there, but like I said in the cbox, I love Feng Shaofeng in Wolf Totem. (I also think Shawn Dou’s pretty good in it — wonder why he wasn’t nominated? It’s not like there’s quota in each category, LOL).
Zhao Liying’s hair is gorgeous! I like the auburn shade — and somehow it fits nicely with her complexion and powder blue dress. I just wish they had shot in another location, maybe a real beach, so it will feel more ethereal.

By the way, have you heard the rumor of Sandra Ma probably starring in Nirvana 2?

There are so many rumors for Nirvana 2 casting (everyone wants the pie!) At the recent Chanel event, Hao Ran either knows and can’t tell or he doesn’t know anything. heh. He only said he really liked Hu Ge in Nirvana. Even Hu Ge himself said he doesn’t know anything. XD So secretive, these people!

Annie Liu is very pretty. Kind of have to say her talent is wasted in Hong Kong but I guess TVB has no other options these days.
So many dramas airing in late Sept/early Oct. It’s tough being a fan of so many people. Lol. I feel compelled to check everything out! Looking forward to Lan Ling, Rouge, Snail and Medical Examiner Qin Ming the most. Hope they don’t disappoint. And I’m probably missing a few titles but there are so many that I can’t remember anymore lol.
A Heartwarming Decade was one of the novels that kept popping up on rankings. I tried to read it but couldn’t get into it at all. Must dropped it after a couple of pages. Oh, Yang Zi. I love her but I may have to skip this.
Only the fans of those who won awards at Hundred Flowers are happy with the results. Weibo basically exploded with skepticism. I haven’t watched any of those films but seeing the nomination list and all, I see why many people are not happy. Ah well. Can’t please everyone.

Yes, too many dramas. Good thing I have a lot of time these days. Lol.
They have a list of the AMC theaters that’s showing this movie in the US and Canada on China Lion Film’s Facebook page. I’m also catching Zhou Dong Yu and Sandra Ma’s Soul Mate this Wednesday.
Probably a better not to adapt this novel if they take away too many details. So many other novels out there. Or better yet, develop an original script!

I’m very excited for the Lost Tomb 2 but I just have a few questions! Are they looking for casts? Didn’t Li Yi Feng signed an eight year or something contract? Will he still be in it? I will be disappointed if Yang Yang will not remain! But other than that, anyone knows if this drama is a continuation of the first?

the lost tomb has nine separate novels, so it is a continuation.
It’s quite clear cut that YY will not be in any of the Daomu series any more.

Mixed feelings about Rouge. LOVE Li Ying, but honestly the premise of the story doesn’t really interest me much at all. Will still watch it, but am as apprehensive as I am excited.

I adore LYF but God knows he did not deserve that award, especially for a role in Mr Six where he was only in it for a bit and his acting in it, while improved, totally was not in the same caliber as the other contestants for that award (who are all veterans and their roles were meaty enough to be called “Supporting Role”). LYF’s role in Mr Six was even smaller than Kris Wu’s role…
Won’t comment on Angelababy cuz she’s basically a vase but at least Huayi did their jobs well and took out the worthy contestants so that the final pool only had duds. That way her win didn’t look so bad.

LOL.” Finally there is some news about this series.I’ve been waiting so long..and glad that LYF already sign 8 years contract for the lost tomb otherwise HR will try to replace him too.I hope his scenes won’t end up being cut in the editing floor like Chusen. THE Chosen boys is not bad really,just doesn’t like the way HR promoting them. I can’t wait till it gets aired. I’m so excited already.LOL. Funny, I remember people here suggesting that Huayi was backing Kris Wu up.. if that were the case, wouldn’t they have gotten that award for him instead of Li Yifeng? More proof that people just like to make up stuff out of hate and dislike..

Look, I’m not a Kris fan (don’t know much about him) but I’m sure like an accomplished actor, he would prefer having his talent and work speak for himself and he knows well that there will be people criticizing him/hating him for whatever goddamn reason. So seriously, let time speak for Kris. If he’s as good as people say he is, then we’ll see it through time.

You guys should give Sweet Sixteen a try. It’s the melodrama with Han Geng and Joo Won that was posted about here a number of times. Maybe that can help you form a better opinion. I saw that it’s up on Kissasian and watched it the other day. I’ll keep my opinion to myself until you guys have seen it!
Kris isn’t with Huayi even though a lot of the Huayi bigshots like him. Not a Kris fan but I don’t hate him either. I just haven’t seen too much of him to form an opinion, but honestly in Mr Six, Kris had a bigger part than LYF and Kris was actually better than LYF was in that film…
As for LYF *sigh*, as much as I adore him, he totally didn’t deserve the award. I’m putting it here, but what’s the bet LYF will be in Huayi projects in the future. I’m pretty sure they have some secret agreement thing going on but anyway, not my business, I just wanna see some good movies/dramas…

I don’t know about Li Yifeng but I do know Kris has a Mr. Six spinoff with Huayi in the works. Which is why it’s puzzling that they didn’t buy that award for him!

I was surprised by LYF and Angelababy winning those awards and by Fan BingBing winning an award in Spain. There is a lot of money in C-ent and I am sure it influences the result in a lot of these awards shows. However, it happens everywhere else. A lot of studios in Hollywood desperately try to win the big awards and they put a lot of money behind it.
ZLY looked gorgeous. I am loving her dress and hair for this night. They need to style her hair like that more often.Since they are working on a Lost Tomb 2, I hope we get a part two for The Mystic Nine. I am already missing XinYue and FoYe.
