First Character Posters for Oho Ou Hao and Hai Ling’s Hero’s Dream

Webdrama Hero’s Dream (天意之秦天宝鉴) is adapted from a sci-fi novel Heaven’s Will written by Qian Li Fang. Not much about the novel is talked about but the vague synopsis describes the journey of a young talented lad (Ou Hao) after he’s offered an opportunity by a mysterious man to change his life. His character becomes the god of war – the Great General Han Xin, who served under Liu Bang (Zhang Dan Feng) and contributed to the founding of the Han dynasty. The promises of intriguing power plays, manipulations, and mysterious unknown forces all come together for (hopefully) an excellent re-imagining of history.

Tang Yan and Shawn Dou’s See You Again wraps up filming after 113 days

Modern drama See You Again (时间都知道), adapted from Sui Hou Zhu’s novel, stars Tang Yan, Shawn Dou, and Yang Shuo has wrapped up filming after 113 days, including overseas scenes in London (last part of filming). The story is still confusing the hell out of me. Our 31-year-old heroine encountering an accident during a plane ride and is transported seemingly in a dream where she’s traveled back 10 years and is in college, where she meets her fiancé (Shawn) and begins courting him knowing their future together. In the long-running dream, she also tries to cure her ailing mother, guide her best friend on a better road, and finally find happiness with Shawn. However, he dies during an accident saving someone. Heart-broken, she decides to go forward in time by taking the same flight that causes the original plane accident. She wakes up and sees her husband safely by her side.

Do you understand this? WHUT? So she’s fighting with time and space, guided by love back to square 1/safety? *mind boggling*

Book fans, please clarify. >.<

Tang Yan and Luo Jin confirmed for drama Gui Qu Lai (The Way We Were)

Real life couple Tang Yan and Luo Jin reunites again for an upcoming modern drama Gui Qu Lai (归去来), described as youthful and emotional, with their fathers being at odds with each other. I think it’s based on a novel (memory failing). Will try to post the synopsis after work (12 hours later!). The story follows four students studying abroad, searching for intellect and love. Our male lead is in a relationship with another girl in the beginning before his father forces the love birds to separate, seeing how her family doesn’t benefit his side at all. Our female lead is a smart girl, pursuing a degree in law, unique in that she rises to the top based on her own efforts. The two students meet and fall in love but a crisis comes their way. The hero is involved in exposing their dads’ criminal activity and our heroine is caught in between as a witness. Ultimately, the culprit is revealed and there’s a heavy price to pay. Everyone grows up in the process, understanding humanity and the value of life, returning to the path of justice.

Webdramas are becoming big on their own with high budget fees and more big names joining left and right. The latest webdrama Hero’s Dream (天意之秦天宝鉴) is adapted from a sci-fi novel Heaven’s Will written by Qian Li Fang. Not much about the novel is talked about but the vague synopsis describes the journey of a young talented lad (Ou Hao)’s journey after he’s offered an opportunity by a mysterious man to change his life. When I checked out Baidu, his character becomes the god of war – the Great General Han Xin, who served under Liu Bang (Zhang Dan Feng) and contributed to the founding of the Han dynasty.
