Shawn Dou and Tang Yan’s See You Again confirms airdate in July

Another Shawn Dou’s drama! Even if it’s not the one many were anticipating… Lol.

Modern drama See You Again (时间都知道), adapted from Sui Hou Zhu’s novel, stars Tang Yan, Shawn Dou, and Yang Shuo. The story is still confusing the hell out of me. Our 31-year-old heroine encounters an accident during a plane ride and is transported seemingly in a dream where she’s traveled back 10 years and is in college, where she meets her fiancé (Shawn) and begins courting him knowing their future together. In the long-running dream, she also tries to cure her ailing mother, guide her best friend on a better road, and finally find happiness with Shawn. However, he dies during an accident saving someone. Heart-broken, she decides to go forward in time by taking the same flight that causes the original plane accident. She wakes up and sees her husband safely by her side….

This confusing plot begins playing before your eyes on 7/16.

Teresa Teng, I Only Care About You confirms Michelle Chen, Peter Ho

This news first came out months ago but as we approach the starting date, confirmations are in. I know Michelle Chen wanted to be a singer at first and even released an album before called Me, Myself, and I. She also sang a few songs for her movies and dramas; one that I’m fond of is her duet with now-hubby Chen Xiao for Yu Zheng’s Romance of the Condor Heroes. As for Taiwanese pop singer Teresa Teng, the talented singer passed away when she was only 42 in 1995 and this drama plans on showcasing the growth of her life and career in three stages as she hit the limelight, then stepped into bigger stages outside of Taiwan, and finally her days as she attempted to return to normalcy.

Zheng Kai, Chen Qiao En, and Zhu Zi Xiao explore pilot drama New Horizon

With the same producer behind Hong Kong hit series, Triumph In The Skies, Mainland has their own version of aviation themed drama starring Chen Qiao En, Ryan Zheng Kai, and Zhu Zi Xiao called New Horizon (壮志高飞). Miss Chen will play flight attendant who then pursues a pilot career and meets two handsome men. Ryan plays a pilot who turned engineer after he accidentally caused the death of Zhu’s mother during a flight and carries that burden to retire as a pilot. Zhu Zi Xiao plays the prince of the airline company, of course the only company since everyone works under it. Lol!

Modern drama See You Again (时间都知道), adapted from Sui Hou Zhu’s novel, stars Tang Yan, Shawn Dou, and Yang Shuo has wrapped up filming after 113 days, including overseas scenes in London (last part of filming). The story is still confusing the hell out of me. Do you understand this? WHUT? So she’s fighting with time and space, guided by love back to square 1/safety? *mind boggling*

Book fans, please clarify. >.<

No vase flowers in Liu En You’s Choose The Right Path

I know what you’re thinking: who the heck is Liu En You? Well, this is one of my attempts to write about series that slip under the radar because the actors and actresses aren’t well-known. Choose The Right Path is an action drama where the actors themselves are proud to say they did 85% of the stunts. The premise revolves around a group of patriotic youths during the time when anti-Japanese sentiment is strong. Take a look at the whopping 32-minute trailer after the jump.
