Historical drama Biao Mei Wan Fu with Song Zu Er and Chen Xin Hai wrapped up filming

Biao Mei Wan Fu (表妹万福) is an upcoming costume drama adapted from the novel written by Peng Lai Ke (The Prisoner of Beauty). Our male lead is a deputy commander of Shenjiying who comes to the booming business city of Changle to buy firearms and gets entangled in the maritime warfare. Our female lead’s family’s merchant ship is on the verge of capture by the Japanese. He then continues to save her from an unwanted marriage by….going into one with her. XD

Song Zu Er and Chen Xin Hai begin filming for costume drama Biao Mei Wan Fu

Biao Mei Wan Fu (表妹万福) is an upcoming costume drama adapted from the novel written by Peng Lai Ke. Is this a coincidence? Zu Er’s previous drama The Prisoner of Beauty is also adapted from the same author! It means we are in the clear for a good drama right? Despite me not having watched Chen Xin Hai in anything before? Our male lead is a deputy commander of Shenjiying who comes to the booming business city of Changle to buy firearms and gets entangled in the maritime warfare. Our female lead’s family’s merchant ship is on the verge of capture by the Japanese. He then continues to save her from an unwanted marriage by….going into one with her. Lol.

Cold and disciplined Gong Jun meets sunshiny Zhang Hui Wen in The Flaming Heart

Hope you didn’t miss Gong Jun too much cause he’s back on the small screen with new modern drama The Flaming Heart (你好，火焰蓝) with Zhang Hui Wen, Zhou Yan Chen, Wang Zi Wei, and Pang Han Chen. Its a romance between a disciplined fire fighter and kind, “sunshiny” doctor. Seems like this year’s theme in dramaland goes parallel with the global pandemic, highlighting the various critical jobs in time of disasters/hardships.
