A Love So Beautiful: Episode 2 – 4 RECAP “Frustration Levels Sky High.”
Maybe I’m getting older or maybe my taste has never changed to begin with. Boy-crazy heroines drive me off the wall. Lol. My experience with this drama is interesting. While I recapped, my level of frustration level was kept at bay, but after the recap, in hindsight, I had to tskk-tskk at all the good moments that the writer let pass for the sake of love. Had it been in a stronger writer’s hand, these moments would have demonstrated good character growth and depth.

I have never wanted to be in detention this bad. I was a goody two-shoes in school so I never had that bonding session in detention after school before! It looks adorable!

Hu Yi Tian and Shen Yue spin A Love So Beautiful youth drama
Awwww. The height difference is so freakin cute! Modern youth cdrama A Love So Beautiful (致我们单纯的小美好) stars rookie actors, Hu Yi Tian and Shen Yue, and is based on the novel written by Zhao Gan Gan. The story reminds me a lot of Taiwanese drama It Started With A Kiss, the tall smart guy in school having a small cute girl chasing after him, except she isn’t as frustratingly dimmed as the latter heroine; he later becomes a doctor and she a Comics artist. It’s very similar to the thousands of youth dramas out there so I’m interested to see how they will make this fresh and heart-warming, especially since the writer behind the successful With You worked on the scripts with five other cohorts. =D

Felix Wong, Michael Miu and more for New Year Gala aka Spring Festival 2017
Performances are not as kool as End-of-the-Year shows. I didn’t really pay attention to them as much, so feel free to post the ones I missed. Was only waiting for one thing: the reunion between Michael Miu‘s Yang Kang and Felix Wong‘s Guo Jing at the very end (Jiangsu TV).
