Hou Ming Hao’s historical drama Glory with Gu Li Na Zha also joins December broadcast

Glory (玉茗茶骨) is an upcoming historical drama following the ups and downs of our couple.

Synopsis Per Viki: Newly-appointed magistrate Lu Jiang Lai (Hou Ming Hao) is making a name for himself by solving crimes… until he’s unexpectedly framed for a cold-case murder. Left for dead and without his memories, he’s rescued by Rong Shan Bao (Gulnezer Bextiyar), the shrewd daughter of a renowned tea cultivator. She conceals his true identity and allows him to work as the family’s stable boy, in part to get revenge due to a previous dispute between Jiang Lai and her family. However, when Shan Bao’s family tries to find her a husband, Jiang Lai is unexpectedly drawn into Shan Bao’s fierce struggle for power. Can Jiang Lai and Shan Bao find a way to help each other out – and will their constant battle of wits lead to something more?

Welp, Neo finds himself in a double identity here as his drama The Unclouded Soul with Tan Song Yun is already set to air on the 27th. This will air 2 days later… Hmmm… I understand airing one after another, but at the same time…. promo events will drain him!

Glory (玉茗茶骨) is an upcoming historical drama following the ups and downs of our couple; well, he mostly suffers the most. Lol. As a top scholar, he quickly becomes a magistrate and successfully solves many mysterious cases. However, he gets entangled in an old case and falls from grace. On the brink of death, our female lead – a young and cunning heiress from the Rong family rescues him. But she didn’t do so out of kindness. She takes advantage of his injury and memory loss and allows him to work as a stable boy in her family as a form of revenge for clashing with her family. He plays along and gets more involved when the Rong family announces a fierce competition to select their son-in-law. The battle of wits continues but their feelings also keep growing~

Suspense republican drama Back for You with Angelababy and Wang An Yu suddenly airs!

They be trying to air these dramas before one of the cast members cause trouble eh? Lol.

Back for You (漫影寻踪) is a minidrama with only 12 episodes. It follows our young police officer who is chased by a gang and then rescued by a mysterious woman. Injured, she then falls into a coma and he tries to wake her up by reading the comic books in her possession (how sweet is this boy?) Oddly enough, the comic books seem to relate to the cases he’s investigating and eventually guide him to solve them.

Fangs of Fortune with Hou Ming Hao, Chen Du Ling, and Cheng Xiao begins airing

Previously known as The Story of Mystics, Fangs of Fortune (大梦归离) is adapted from the tales and myths in Classic of Mountains and Seas.

The story per Qiyi: The story narrates a magnificent legend where “demons capture demons.” During the Zhenyuan era, due to the accidental death of the Bai Ze goddess, who governed the realms of humans and demons, the Bai Ze Order goes missing, leading to rampant demon beasts causing chaos and numerous bloody murders in the human world. At this time, the leader of all demons, “Zhu Yan,” disguised as Zhao Yuanzhou (played by Hou Minghao), volunteers to “surrender” and proposes to help the imperial court form a demon-hunting bureau to quell the chaos. Wen Xiao (played by Chen Duling), wary and suspicious of Zhao Yuanzhou, joins the demon-hunting bureau along with her childhood friend and consul of the bureau, Zhuo Yichen (played by Tian Jiarui), who is adept in both detective work and swordsmanship; the cool and detached archer Pei Sijing (played by Cheng Xiao), formerly of the martial camp; and the young, talented, but timid doctor Bai Jiu (played by Lin Ziye). Together, they form a demon-hunting team, confronting the demon beasts recorded in “The Classic of Mountains and Seas.” As they solve cases, they gradually uncover the brutal truth behind the malicious acts of the demon beasts. Faced with a great responsibility and the loss of loved ones to dust, can the indestructible friendship of the demon-hunting team and the love between the top demon beast and the goddess break through this dilemma?

First Official Posters for Fangs of Fortune with Hou Ming Hao, Chen Du Ling, and Cheng Xiao as filming wraps up

Previously known as The Story of Mystics, Fangs of Fortune (大梦归离) is adapted from the tales and myths in Classic of Mountains and Seas. Neo will be playing a demon lord Ying Long, which I’m gonna guess is modeled after the mythical dragon in control of rain and floods. He wants to die but doesn’t want to accept fate so is led down the path of rebirth.

The visual in this drama is pretty-pretty but it’s their BTS chemistry that is worth mentioning; dancing, singing, and playing around with Guo Jing Ming (one of the directors) too. They had a blast when it first snowed at Hengdian.
