So yes, it’s three separate novels, all with different stories. Love When The Stars Fall (星落凝成糖) is written by Yi Du Jun Hua and follows dual female leads! They are princesses from the royal family Li. Older sister (He Xuan Lin) is deemed as a lucky charm for the family. She’s kind-hearted, beautiful, and is considered hope to the whole country. She’s betrothed to the heavenly first prince (Chen Xing Xu). As a favor in return, they are protected by the heavens. Younger sister (Li Lan Di) was born unlucky, deemed as a shame to the family, making her cold-hearted and cruel. She’s betrothed to the demon prince (Chen Mu Chi). If There is Still Time Left (如果还有时间) stars Li Lan Di and Lin Yi in a heart-breaking romance. Some sources say it’s adapted from 2014’s Japanese drama Boku no Ita Jikan aka The Hours of My Life (僕のいた時間) with Miura Haruma and Tabe Mikako. Our leads are both university students awaiting for their graduation. The two young people constantly face difficulties as they transition into the working population but eventually grow to understand and develop feelings for each other. When everything seems fine and smooth sailing, our hero is met with a fatal diagnosis…he has Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). With the average life expectancy between 2-5 years, our hero struggles with the sudden blow. With the love, support, and encouragement from friends and families, he’s able to look ahead and live life to the fullest till the end.
