We are excited to announce a new subbing project. A little birdie from the AVV Community really wanted to watch this drama and unfortunately, there was no subtitles. This little birdie sent out a distress signal and through threats-on-friendship, bribes, trades a loving request gathered like-minded volunteers to form TLR Subbing Team.
Hidden Love (偷偷藏不住) is adapted from the novel written by Zhu Yi. Going through the novel reviews, it looks like a sweet romance. Our heroine has frequent parents meeting and in order to avoid troubles, she enlists the help of her older brother but since they are like cat-and-dog, she turns to her brother’s friend (our male lead) instead. From then on, they become friends but he only looks at her like a younger sister. And he should because he’s 7 years older than her (not sure about the drama). He’s a university student and she’s a middle school girl harboring a small crush on this new friend. BUT their romance doesn’t start until she becomes a college student in the city he’s in. Phew.

Lighter & Princess (点燃我温暖你) is adapted from the novel written by Twentine. It is a story about the passions of youth and the cruelty of time and people’s hearts. On the outside, our female lead, Zhu Yun is your typical poster child of a well-behaved, obedient student. She grew up under the strict supervision of her parents and strives to do well in school as to not disappoint them. But deep down, Zhu Yun is secretly rebellious and has quite the sarcastic tongue. She would have followed her parents’ set path for her had she not met the outwardly rebellious male lead, Li Xun, who attracts her attention on their first day of school with his bright golden hair and devil-may-care attitude. He’s loud about his lawless ways and even if Zhu Yun curses him under her breath, she can’t help but slowly falls for his hidden intelligence and talents. He has her wrapped around his fingers for sure. 😛 She believes in him and stays by his side through all their ups and downs, even during and after the separation arc (6 years).
Aww our boy is growing up so fast! Ever Night was one of the two dramas I finished 2 years ago. Lol.
