New Cdrama Trailers at the 2026 Tencent Video V Vision Conference

And the last compiled post for me! I won’t be doing these posts in the future because it’s too time-consuming and usually by the time I put the post up, most have seen the trailers on other platforms. No point in me rehashing another version. As always, I only included dramas with trailers since the stills will be in their individual post.

For those new to this routine, each streaming platform (tencent, mango, youku, iqiyi, etc) has a few conferences each year to showcase their upcoming dramas, roping in potential advertisements and interest.

Videos may take a few seconds to load.

Upcoming dramas release New Trailers at the Tencent Video 2025 Preview Party

Just a reminder, I only included trailers since I will be including the posters in their individual posts in the future, no need to repeat for more work. Tencent has a lot of drama I’m keeping my eyes on for sure. Lol. The videos may take a few extra seconds to load since Tencent youtube sucks by not uploading anything and therefore I had to use mostly twitter for videos.

One Hot 3-Way Battle in Cdramaland in May: Xiao Zhan’s The Legend of Zang Hai vs Li Xian’s A Love Never Lost vs Song Zu Er’s The Prisoner of Beauty

It’s RAINING DRAMAS!! WEEEEEEEE~~ Lol. This is gonna be a hot mess or maybe it’s the best time to be a cdrama fan as all three dramas just confirmed their airing date! Are you watching all three? Or just one? Or two?? My top one is Song Zu Er and Liu Yu Ning’s The Prisoner of Beauty, and if I have time, The Legend of Zang Hai. Have never watched Xiao Zhan in anything and he’s very popular, so I’m curious!

Chasing Dreams with Chen Zhe Yuan and Zhang Jing Yi wrapped up filming

Chasing Dreams (梦花廷) is adapted from the novel written by Xiao Ru Se. My friend said the novel is pretty short and the drama synopsis sounds nothing like it besides the names. Lol.

Synopsis Per Wetv: Princess Tilan of Xiangnan (Zhang Jing Yi), bright and free-spirited, loses her peaceful royal life overnight due to a coup and awakens the ability to foresee the future as a “Blind Songstress.” She crosses paths with General Tang Qianzhi (Chen Zhe Yuan), and through a twist of fate, they become betrothed, forming a deep bond. Meanwhile, Prince Zhong Xu of Great Zheng (Liang Yong Qi), obsessed with Tilan due to her resemblance to his late consort, seeks to claim her. As war and turmoil rage on, Tilan fights against fate, standing by her love and defying destiny to change the course of a chaotic world.

Filming started in November of last year and wrapped up a few days ago.

Zhang Jing Yi Blossoms in Adversity with Hu Yi Tian this April

Okay, I will get my head out of Shen Li‘s oven and check other Cdrama updates…

Blossoms in Adversity (惜花芷) is adapted from the novel written by Kong Liu. It follows our heroine, eldest daughter of the Hua family, who hides her ability during her childhood and only reveals her intelligence when the family business threatens to collapse. I swear Cdramas and their smart-girl-but-I-gotta-hide-my-talents is its own soapy trope. The question is…can it shine above the others?

To air 4/2~ (Side note: It’s APRIL!! I have one more week of maternity leave left. What if he goes to college while I’m at work? 😭 )
