Zhao Li Ying’s Wild Bloom with Ou Hao and Li Guang Jie confirms air date

Wild Bloom (野蛮生长) is adapted from the novel written by A Nai (Like A Flowing River, Ode to Joy, etc). It follows the journey of female lead as she throws herself into the steel business full of judgemental men. She began her life under harsh terms, being blamed for the death of her mother while giving birth to her. Hence, her dad named her after a poisonous plant. He neglects her, leaving her to struggle in her childhood, shaping the stubborn and courageous personality in that small frame. As China’s economy begins to flourish in the 90s, she and her good brothers start up a business of scrapping and transporting steel, slowing expanding it with her sharp business mind. Li Guang Jie faces societal changes and pressure in See You Again

See You Again (再见那一天) is an upcoming drama with a heavier topic. Our male lead played by Li Guang Jie accidentally kills someone while on the mission to kill/hurt his sister’s assaulter and is then sentenced to life imprisonment. The only friend who comes to visit him is police officer played by Hu Jun and because of his good behavior, he’s released from prison early. Life during and after prison proves hard to a man with a tainted past but our male lead is lucky and finds himself working for a funeral shop owner, who also has a checkered past. A little light and humanity shine on our group of friends.
