Please Feel At Ease Mr. Ling drops first posters with Zhao Lu Si and Liu Te

After a string of period dramas, Zhao Lu Si is seen back again for a modern drama with actor Liu Te, who was recently in My Dear Lady with Jiang Meng Jie. How is his acting? Please Feel At Ease Mr. Ling (一不小心捡到爱) is a modern rom-com adapted from the novel written by Chun Feng Yi Du, who you might recognize as the author for novel-to-drama What If You’re My Boss (奈何boss又如何) which recently aired. The story follows our delivery girl – female lead who accidentally knocks over an heir to a large corporation, who at the time was in distress over battling for inheritance rights. He claims to be hurt and requests that she take responsibility. She doesn’t know of his status and thinks he’s not “okay” in the head, so she agrees to house him until he feels better. Thus begins the trope of co-habitation.

Why does this sound strange? Lol. Maybe the novel provides more details (and common sense?) but I’m not intrigued enough to check it out. XD

First stills of Chang Ge Xing with Dilireba, Wu Lei, Zhao Lu Si, and Liu Yu Ning

Chang Ge Xing aka Song of the Long March (長歌行) is adapted from the manhua of the same name written by Xia Da. It follows our heroine, who’s a princess on the run. Her father is Crown Prince Li but after the new Emperor ascended the throne, he ordered his brothers and families put to death. She escapes, fakes her own death, disguises herself as a male and plots her revenge against the new Emperor, becoming a fierce military leader in the process. The manhua is highly rated among fans and has solid rating of 9 on douban. Readers also poured their hearts out for the arts as well.

Reviews are promising, our heroine sounds awesome – merciless and highly intelligent. Since she was young, she was trained in martial arts and battle strategies, so she holds her own in a fight. Our male protagonist is no less of a worthy character – he’s the adopted son of Jieli Khan, a leader of his own army, who is known for his ruthlessness and doing things his ways in the beginning. He slowly melts that attitude and begins to realize how his actions could affect those around him after meeting our leading lady. But he doesn’t know SHE is a SHE for a little bit. HEH.

First Impression: What do you think of The Romance of Tiger and Rose with Zhao Lu Si and Ding Yu Xi?

It’s here! Airing today! Let me know how it is!

The Romance of Tiger and Rose (传闻中的陈芊芊) is a ancient romcom drama with an interesting storyline. Our heroine is a struggling scriptwriter with a passion for her career. She finally finds an investor for her drama but right before they can begin filming, the male lead actor openly shows dissatisfaction about the story, putting a stop to the production. Frustrated, she vows to prove her ability, just to find herself in her own fictional world. She’s NOT the female lead but rather the unlikable third princess, a minor but quite scandalous female who is destined to die in 3 episodes, by the hands of the male lead no less (!!). With a death sentence hanging over her head, she has to fight against time and is caught between the male lead (Ding Yu Si) who plays a sly prince, and second male lead (Sheng Ying Hao), a perfect man at all angles.
