I love listening to music from around the world, especially music in a language I’m trying to learn. In the past couple years that I’ve been studying Mandarin and watching Chinese dramas, I’ve been slowly building a list of various Mandarin language songs and artists I enjoy. Since I haven’t had too many shows to write about lately, I thought I’d share some of my faves on my playlist. And to make it extra challenging, I picked songs that were not from dramas I’d watched.

2017 Year-End & New Year Music Performances from Chinese TV Stations
Last post of 2017! Time to relax and listen to some jamming as we reflect on the year that went by too quickly.
Gathering of Chinese Stars at Harper’s Bazaar Charity Night 2017
PEACHHHHHHH!! Lolol. Your couple is front news! hee! Everyone should love this post since it’s all about pretty and kindness! I forgot who said this quote, but doing charity only has a beginning, it never ends. There was no crazy fashion tonight, everyone looks good with what they chose and for once I’m a happy camper with Li Ying’s stylist (I’m more picky with her! xD)
2016 Year-End Music Performances from Chinese TV Stations
Time to let your heart and brain dance and sing for the celebration of a great new year ahead! Chinese broadcasting stations took their turns to invite as many Chinese stars and celebrities as possible to their platform in the last days of 2016. How did it fair? Fairly equal. Find your favorite stars down below. I think it’s a solid end to 2016.
20 minutes to go before the closing of curtains on 2016! Last post is this humongous compilation of videos. Forgive me if there are mistakes….I am holding a drink…or two. ;]
Harper’s Bazaar China Charity Night 2016
The annual charity event hosted by Bazaar China is back! I both love and dislike these events. Lol. I don’t know how many pictures I scrolled through in the last three hours to compile the pictures! In general, the men look pretty good this batch but the ladies have quite a few misses in the fashion department.
Chinese New Year Shows From Various TV Stations
Happy Chinese New Year! Gung Hei Fat Choy everyone!! I’m at the age of giving out li xi (red envelope, lucky money) instead of receiving them now. LOL. You don’t know you have THAT many cousins until they line up after you. XD
Another compilation. Trying my best as they air on different days, so let me know if I missed your favorites. HNTV is airing tomorrow. But CCTV blew me away with their stage designs and big stars.
