Performances from Hunan TV

Kris Wu.

TFBOYS.

Show Luo.

Dimash Kudaibergen!

Lay’s Medley ~

Hua Chen Yu in a medley of songs.

Deng Lun with “Stable Blessedness.” Like his voice! 😀

Chen Xiang and Ji Ling Chen.

Guan Xiao Tong with Wang Jia!

Lolol. Bai Jing Ting got dropped in the veteran den! XD

Hu Yi Tian looking quite adorable and comfortable in today’s performance. Less awkward!

For Christmas, anyone would like a sparkly Yang Yang? Lol. “Like An Idol” and “The Power of Love.”

Performances from Jiangsu TV

Zhao Li Ying’s duet with Kris Wu. “Miss You.” Oh man, Li Ying’s voice today is really off… Ai ya, the hug at the end was quite awkward and adorkable. Lol. I didn’t like how they set up the performance and the circular walk. Feels disjointed. I would rather she sings Princess Agents themesong instead.

Kris Wu’s Solo performances.

Give it up for Wakin Chau’s “Let It Go” with Luo Tian Yi.

“Any song reminds you or me?”

Li Yi Feng with “Happy Fools Day” and “Character.”

Liu Tao with “Aging of Beauty” and “Ways of the world” (with Silence Wang.)

Silence Wang with “The Light Runner.”

Wilber Pan raps “Close Encounter” with VAVA.

Boyband X NINE.

Veteran Priscilla Chan Wai Han! Second song is “There is only you in my heart!” <3 <3 <3 Whenever a full shot of her dress takes place, I die inside, it fills the whole stage!

Jiang Yao Jia.

Jonathan Lee with “I Do Love You” and “Superband.” Woohoo!

Joker Xue.

Zhang Bi Chen.

With Jeff Chang.

Gigi Leung’s medley.

SNH48 with “Dawn in Naples.”

Performances from Zhejiang TV

William Chan singing “Queen” and “Baby Don’t Cry.” He keeps fixing the green ear-flap thingy in the second song. Lol.

Run Brother cast singing “SuperHero” with both Angelaby and Dilraba. 🙂

Jolin Tsai’s medley performance.

Angelababy singing “Five Hundred Miles.” She looks pretty.

Dilraba putting on a head-flipping performance for “Despacito.” She’s one of the few actresses with natural sex appeal but I think this song could be more passionate and fluid.

Ryan Zheng performing two songs. I would be upset if I were there and he’s singing in a box! Lol.

Dimash Kudaibergen with “The Crown” and “All By Myself.”

Li Yu Chun’s Medley Songs.

JJ Lin, another powerhouse of medley performances.

Fish Leong. Ahh, I miss her voice!

Jane Zhang.

Jane collaborating with Ne-Yo.

G.E.M.

Best friends and sisters, S.H.E.

His Solo performances.

William Chan.

Ma Tian Yu! My baby boo singing “I Only Care about You~”

Joey Yung.

Jia Nai Liang and wifey Li Xiao Lu. I saw the scandal that arose the past day with PGONE and since all sides have explained their trust in each other and the presence of others the same night, paps should stop the scandal-stirring pot! This type of news is very damaging!

S.H.E’s medley performance made me feel so nostalgic.

    Happy New Year, Kappy!

“Angelababy singing “Five Hundred Miles.” She looks pretty.”
Ha ha ha! Was this shade, Kappy?

No denying Dilreba is beautiful but her performance was bad. She’s a trained dancer so I know she can do better than that! This was like one of those dances little cousins put on at family events. All she did was walk around in circles and swing her hips and hair. She wasn’t even in sync with the beat for most of it.

It wasn’t. Lol. I’m envious of Baby’s hair and complexion since forever. =D Can’t critique her voice since she’s not a singer, just like many other actresses.

Happy 2018, Kappy! Thanks for all your hard work on bringing us news in 2017!!! Greatly appreciated 😁 I love how you add Shawn at the end! I was waiting for him to update his weibo at least but our boy seems to be busy. Hope to see more of him in 2018…

Shawn is the greatest dramaland gift to me this year. B) I knew him before (Hawthorn movie) but my love for him bloomed this year and now I’m a forever fan!

    Priscilla Chan Wai Han <3
    S.H.E. <3
    JJ Lin <3
<3 to Shawn even if he's not a part of this lol
They should have had Liying sing with Zhang Bi Chen lol It was very awkward…
Jin Dong's voice is so warm and lovely

    • 21 thoughts on “2017 Year-End & New Year Music Performances from Chinese TV Stations

Shawn is part of my love now, Choco! heee!

    • 21 thoughts on “2017 Year-End & New Year Music Performances from Chinese TV Stations

Pretty sure Liying chose to sing with Kris. She was the one who approached him to do a song after all. They’re probably promoting early for whatever it is they’re working on in 2018.

      • 21 thoughts on “2017 Year-End & New Year Music Performances from Chinese TV Stations

Hmmm, that’s interesting to know. There were speculations of her possibly singing with Zhang Bi Chen before the song collaboration.
        All well ~
I was wishing ZLY will feel more confident in her singing. Kris seems pretty nice. If they’re having another collab or work together, yay for that lol.

      • 21 thoughts on “2017 Year-End & New Year Music Performances from Chinese TV Stations

Really? I also read Kris invited LY for the collaboration.

I recalled Kris praised her singing on 72 Floors. Looking forward to more collabs.

    • 21 thoughts on “2017 Year-End & New Year Music Performances from Chinese TV Stations

It felt as if LY and Kris were too afraid to interact with one another because of fans war. smh

Thank you very much for your work. Happiness in the new year and creative success. Your site is one of the most loved !!!!! Sovunka from Ukraine))))

  7. 21 thoughts on “2017 Year-End & New Year Music Performances from Chinese TV Stations

Kris is so kind, helping Liying like that. She seemed really nervous. He even hugged her to reassure her in the end. Her singing wasn’t the best but at least she found the confidence to sing live.

    • 21 thoughts on “2017 Year-End & New Year Music Performances from Chinese TV Stations

Agree. She is an actress and cannot sing very well but she has the courage to participate. I guess singing in front of large crowds can be very scary. Kris was a gentleman and you can see that they are friendly but shy. Their hug was arckward yes but still cute ……..Hope they collaborate again.

happy new Year Kappy and friends from around the globe
    Many thanks for your compilations!
i enjoyed this year concert immensely 🙂

By the way – can anybody confirm – Li Yi Fengs song 角色 seems to be about himself . why i feel like he write his song for people who dislike him?
so maybe the song will be his upcoming single released in 2018? first time I heard him sing and rap . I love it.

Hu Yi Tian is sopoo handsome OMG ..
and so true he looks more relaxed. surely his career still has long way to go =)

    • 21 thoughts on “2017 Year-End & New Year Music Performances from Chinese TV Stations

Did a little digging and indeed Li Yi Feng did write the song as a response to people who insist on denying his efforts and hard work. 🙂

  9. 21 thoughts on “2017 Year-End & New Year Music Performances from Chinese TV Stations

Happy New year. I will now set a side some time to watch these performance! Thanks for all your hardwork!

TFBOYs popularity is no joke even though they are rarely mentioned here for their music. They were invited to close the most watched NYE show, Hunan TV and they didn’t even sing their well known hits but rather two new songs that were released on two weeks ago.

It’s only been four years. I’m proud of them for making it , it’s a hard market for a boyband to get big in but they are the biggest. Also they seem to have grown up very well adjusted considering the age they started out

Wait, Dong Baba is singing now? Wow!
