In Blossom with Ju Jing Yi and Liu Xue Yi releases first trailer, gearing up for broadcast

In Blossom (花间令) is another big gun to join March broadcast?! Oh my.

Synopsis by Youku: In the sinful city of Heyang, very well-liked Pan Yue married Yang Caiwei, who was despised by everyone. However, Yang Caiwei was murdered on their wedding day. The suspected culprit was none other than Pan Yue. Reborn from death, Yang Caiwei was under the guise of the “wicked woman” Shangguan Zhi. She returned with a fierce demeanor, intending to expose Pan Yue’s true colors. As they bravely confronted the Four Major Clans and uncovered the old cases, their hearts drew closer once more. Yang Caiwei discovered that the true culprit was not Pan Yue, who had loved her deeply all along. Just as things seemed to be falling into place, the mastermind behind the scenes set another trap, pushing them into the abyss of despair.

Chinese Paladin 4 begins filming with Ju Jing Yi and Chen Zhe Yuan

Chinese Paladin 4 (仙剑奇侠传4) has commenced filming with their leads in Ju Jing Yi and Chen Zhe Yuan and some supporting faces that I recognize in Mao Xiao Hui and Sun Ying Hao. As many might know/remember, the Chinese Paladin franchise is adapted from a series of video games also known as The Legend of Sword and Fairy, and the most famous drama adaptation being 2005’s Chinese Paladin with Hu Ge and Liu Yi Fei. In CP4 (considered the 5th installment, prequel to the CP3), the video game synopsis is described below:

Yun Tian He, a young man who had been living alone on a mountain peak, was on a regular boar hunting trip when he came across the young woman Han Ling Sha, from a clan of short-lived tomb raiders, attempting to break into his parents’ tomb, culminating in the destruction of the tomb, and setting him on a journey alongside Ling Sha to the outside world to uncover his parents’ past. On the journey, they encountered and befriended the adopted daughter of the magistrate of Shou Yang, Liu Meng Li, who seemed to have connections to Tian He’s father, and a skilled and kind swordmaster who trained at Mt. Kunlun’s Qionghua School since a young age, Murong Zi Ying.

What do you think of the cast? Would you prefer lesser known faces?

Love Under the Full Moon with Ju Jing Yi and Zheng Ye Cheng confuses Kappy with head-scratching synopsis

Can I be honest with you guys? I read the synopsis in Chinese and I was like… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Then I went onto qiyi’s website to check out THEIR synopsis, and I saw this: “Lei Chuxia who lives in the modern (Ju Jingyi), because of the “supermoon”, her memory loss and crossed into Xu Xiaodong’ (Zheng Yecheng) phone, then a magical journey begins.”

Love Under the Full Moon (满月之下请相爱) begins airing 8/26~
