I’m excited for this! The last Li Ying’s drama I watched and finished was the questionable-production-but-I-love-the-cast Legend of Fei. Then Wild Bloom I have only managed to watch half of that drama. Lol. I’m not really a modern drama kinda person ya know. I have my reservations about Shen Li too; with Lin Geng Xin looking exactly like his not-my-favorite character in Princess Agents gave me multiple whiplashes. But I decided to be an adult (heh) and give this couple one more chance to woo me. XD
Zhang Bi Chen once again lends her voice for Li Ying’s drama! This is the 5th one so far. They have become very good friends throughout the years. 😀
The highly anticipated palace drama, Ru Yi’s Royal Love In The Palace (如懿传), adapted from the novel written by Liu Lian Zi, has wrapped up its 87 episode long journey. Kappy wrote a first impressions when the drama started airing in August and since I was following the series, I wanted to see your opinion on the finale last night.
Did you enjoy the show? What did you like or dislike about the series? Throw in your opinions on other elements such as acting, OST, cinematography. I want to know them all.
Palace drama Ru Yi’s Royal Love In The Palace (如懿传) is adapted from the novel written by Liu Lian Zi, following the marriage between Qianlong Emperor (Wallace Huo) and Ulanara (Zhou Xun), the Step Empress during the Qing dynasty.
I’m really looking forward to this! Bromance, romance, political intrigues. The colors look great. Please be good, show! Its airs Tuesdays-Thursdays, 2 episodes each day. “VIP” members (ahum) get to see one week ahead, so ideally we “piggyback riders” have 12 episodes this week. Ha!
