Zhu Yi Long and An Yue Xi headline Letting You Float Like A Dream

It’s funny that when Zhu Yi Long is not leading, we’re sad, but when he’s leading, we are worried because he might get killed. Lol. Letting You Float Like A Dream (许你浮生若梦) is his latest completed drama based on the novel by Ju Zi Chen. He stars with An Yue Xi (Rakshasa Street) in perhaps a multi-timeline love story.

Series Review: Rakshasa Street (Cdrama, 2017)

Rakshasa Street” 《镇魂街》 is based on a manhua series by Xu Chen and produced by the same team who also did the short anime version of this same title, but the live action version of the story is a slightly different take, so if you’ve read the manga or watched the anime series, you can still expect something different from the show. I’ve watched the series without English captions on Youku, but now that it’s been licensed on Viki.com, I wanted to do a review as this has been one of my favorite dramas this year.

First Impressions: Let’s Shake It, ET (Cdrama, 2017)

After “Princess Agents”, I was in serious need of some fluffy, light-hearted content. Thankfully I’d just happened to see a trailer for “Let’s Shake It, ET”《颤抖吧!阿部》and because it reminded me a lot of “Go, Princess, Go” and was different from any of the C-dramas I’d watched before, I wanted to check it out. While it may not be getting as much attention as “The King’s Woman” or “Xuan Yuan Sword: Han Cloud”, this is my favorite show right now. I know most people are waiting for it to be subtitled before watching so I wanted to give an overview of the series and what happened in the first few episodes as it’s a comedy well worth watching.
