Han Dong Jun is back onscreen in modern garbs! Plus, he’s alongside the capable Yang Zi Shan in a plot that has been done over and over again; a pair of deeply in love young adults who were torn apart by social status and financial differences, yet their hearts remain with each other for years and the heroine finally decides to pursue the man she chased away years later. I hope their acting and chemistry will elevate the drama into something memorable.

Song Qian and Oho Ou Hao confirm drama The Moon Doesn’t Understand My Heart
Ooo. I scanned through the reviews and this novel doesn’t sound like my type. It’s so depressing and exhausting! The Moon Doesn’t Understand My Heart is a novel written by Xin Yi Wu, the author behind So You’re Still Here and So Young. This author has an inkling for separation and reunion stories doesn’t she? Wrote up a snippet of the story for those interested!
New drama stills for Han Dong Jun’s Never Gone (So You’re Still Here)
Based on the novel written by Xin Yi Wu, Han Dong Jun and Yang Zi Shan are the leads for Never Gone (So You’re Still Here) drama version. You might recall the movie version with Kris Wu and Liu Yi Fei last year, about a pair of deeply in love young adults who were torn apart by social status and financial differences, yet their hearts remain with each other for years and the heroine finally decides to pursue the man she chased away. Separation-at-youth-and-meet-again seems to be the prevailing trend in dramas…. It’s been done to death. Lol.
Li Lan Di and Hu Xian Xu lead rookie actors in Never Gone drama version
Never Gone (So You’re Still Here, 原来你还在这里) is based on the novel written by Xin Yi Wu. A pure and entangling love story that extends through the years and comes to a temporary end when social status and money throw a wedge in their budding love. Unlike other dramas where the main leading actors play the youths and the adults, the crew has decided to use fresh-faced rookie actors to play the younger versions, which is always a plus for me! But one thing…this is one gloomy-looking group of young adults…. Lol….
Han Dong Jun and Yang Zi Shan begin filming for Never Gone (So You’re Still Here)
Strong pairing! Han Dong Jun and Yang Zi Shan begin filming for Never Gone (So You’re Still Here) drama version of the novel written by Xin Yi Wu. You might recall the movie version with Kris Wu and Liu Yi Fei last year, about a pair of deeply in love young adults who were torn apart by social status and financial differences, yet their hearts remain with other for years and the heroine finally decides to pursue back the man she chased away. It’s not a deep subject and has been repeated many times, but what will sell this story is the acting, which I believe won’t be a problem.
