War movie The Founding of An Army reveals star-studded cast

War movie, The Founding of An Army (建军大业), is the third part of the trilogy called Founding of New China, followed by The Founding of a Republic (2009), The Founding of a Party (2011), intended to be released this summer to mark the anniversary of the Chinese army (90th anniversary). The movie gathers 40+ stars in main roles and guest appearances, including both veteran actors and fresh meat, led by Zhu Ya Wen (as Zhou En Lai), Liu Ye (as Mao Zedong), Oho Ou (as Ye Ting), Ma Tian Yu, Liu Hao Ran and Ma Yi Li. The story begins in 1927 at the beginning of the Nanchang uprising, known as the first major Kuomintang–Communist engagement.

Yang Yang’s News Updates: Martial Universe, Once Upon A Time

Since the man is involved in both projects, might as well combine it into one. Heh. Hard work behind Yang Yang, Zhang Tian Ai’s Martial Universe

It’s a new year so I really hope unkind rumors stop plaguing this production team. From Zhang Tian Ai‘s sudden change of character to Gina Jin‘s poetic reveal on weibo, then to the slandering of Yang Yang‘s reputation, it has been an exhausting ride. The production team just released a behind-the-scene video, showing how hard everyone has to work for the upcoming ancient drama, Martial Universe, based on xianxia novel Wu Dong Qian Kun (武动乾坤) written by Tian Can Tu Dou.

Anyhoo, Yang Yang‘s next anticipated drama, Martial Universe, adapted from a xianxia novel Wu Dong Qian Kun (武动乾坤) written by Tian Can Tu Dou, has officially began filming today 11/14/16 with its confirmed cast members. Cute Little Monk is All Grown Up: Ashton Chen Xiao Long

I just had an embarrassing ride with my parents when they rearranged the basement this past weekend and stumbled upon my middle school…er….artworks? Collages? One of them being of this little monk kid! Do you guys remember his adorable face? He’s known as my little hubby 10+ years ago because everyone assumed he was younger, seeing how we watched his kung fu movies when he was a peanut in the industry.
