Wei Da Xun’s Shuttle Love Millennium drops trailer and air date

Even after the switcheroo, Shuttle Love Millennium, season two of Love Weaves Through A Millennium (相爱穿梭千年2), still filmed enough footage to secure an air date on HNTV. Whatever hunan wants to make happen, will happen. I’m confused at the storyline, as the synopsis morphed since the last time I read. The trailer seems to suggest that our hero (Wei Da Xun) in 2016 and his doppelganger in 1936 switched souls and now must uncover the secrets behind their complicated entanglements. Looks like a fun role for Wei Da Xun to tackle! Ladies with a sweet tooth for eye-candies will have fun with the entourage of handsome men and cute puppies in supporting roles. I gotcha back!!! XD

Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy reveals sweat and blood behind the scene

How is it possible that everything about this drama intrigues me? Even the behind-the-scene video is slick and sounds epic to the ears than your typical promotional materials for other dramas! At this point, even if the script fails, I can purely watch for the visual festivity before my eyes. But honestly, after seeing the amount of work they poured in for the set, materials, and costumes, I have a new found respect for the production team, going above and beyond to map out their imaginations into concrete settings. I love you Tribes, don’t fail me.

Posters for the Ladies of Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy

Woo~, I don’t know about you guys but one wedding has me spent (yes, I felt like I was there in happy and dogged spirit!) but moving on, some new posters were released for Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy (海上牧云记), a drama adaptation of the novel written by Jin He Zai. Filming officially wrapped up on May 27th and it started in August 2015! 10 long months! THIS is my most anticipated drama this year, plainly because of the kickass trailers.

Bulletin Board: Cdramaland/ENT News (34)

Sigh, I need to keep track to make these posts shorter! Getting too long. Wah! And news become old quickly after being stored here for like…two weeks. Lol.

Abandoned royalties raise wars in 6-minute trailer for Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy

While I had some good laughs in the last post, clarifying that Tribes and Empires: Storm of Prophecy is indeed a drama, and not a movie, it’s rather sad to see how small our expectations have become over the years in Cdramaland. Keep in mind that this drama started filming around August of last year and hence has plenty of time to edit and film, but the trailer crew did do a damn good job in knocking our breath away with the first teaser. Mr. Cao Dun, I shall remember your name! They just dropped the official trailer a few hours ago. Have a look and again I’m thoroughly thrilled even at the resonant voices in the trailer.

Hook, line, and sinker!

Discussion Corner: The Legend of Zu Finale Spoilers

I can’t say bye fast enough to this drama. So sad that it disappointed me in all the ways possible. By the end of it, I wanted to become Blood Demon myself and do some real damage to the writer. RAWRRRRRRR!

SPOILERS ALERT. You are warned. They say that the TV version will have a different ending to the Online version, so let’s see.

Discussion Corner: The Legend of Zu Episode 1 – 30 “Love and Hate.”

I’ve been negligent towards this drama, mainly because I’m left disappointed. It’s an idol wuxia drama through and through. The only plus point is how gorgeous Zhao Li Ying looks in every frame (over 1000 screencaps of her in my harddrive), there’s hardly a minute where she’s not lovely. So pretty that I have a hard time focusing on other characters (they are pretty unlikable anyway, LOL). The plot is starting to cycle in circles with Papa Wu asking the same old question, “Daughter, does Ding Yi still trust you? If yes, approach him for the Nth time.”

Me: “Father, you’re really lame.”

Episode 21-30 are released today 11/22/15! Discuss away! I promise to be more active. =)
