Blossom is adapted from the novel Jiu Chong Zi/Deep Purple (九重紫) written by Zhi Zhi, who also wrote The Sword and The Brocade. This is another second chance type of novel.

Synopsis per Wetv: After losing her mother at a young age, Dou Zhao faces family turmoil and a harsh fate that leaves her disillusioned with love and kinship. After our heroine dies in her first life, she realizes she has overlooked many things. She wakes up in her toddler years. It’s strange to me how a lot of novels want their main characters to go back in time to when they are a baby. Quite useless, no? They don’t even have control of their bladder yet. 🤦 As for our male lead, he has brewing troubles within his own family, hostile relationship with his dad, which results in many deaths.

Youhug’s description: The first daughter of the Dou family, Dou Zhao, who was abandoned by her husband, was accidentally reborn. She gets to know Song Mo, who is carrying a family grudge.
