You know when I write about dramas, I rarely sit down and count them? Until I do and the list is humongous! There are about 20+ chinese dramas set to start filming in the winter of 2016, as you might already notice from the onslaught of press conferences and booting ceremonies this past week. To keep me sane, I have compiled the first batch here. Hee!
Well, isn’t Thai Actor Mike D. Angelo keeping busy in China? This past week, two of his Chinese dramas, My Little Princess (亲爱的公主病) and Delicious Destiny (美味奇缘) both drop their first official trailer. One is a clearly a comedy, while the other one is your typical Chinese melo, complete with face-washing in a glass of wine.
Everyone is having press conferences this week for their show. Grouping these two press conferences together since they were closer in dates. Yes. An excuse to post all the pretty boys in one post. HEH.

Continuing the trend of having both movie and drama adaptation of novels, Summer’s Desire, written by Ming Xiao Xi, is next in line and has secretly started filming two weeks ago. But it doesn’t have much fanfare yet because playing the heroine is a new face. Not to worry because the drama adaptation released five years ago starred some of Taiwanese biggest stars in Barbie Hsu, Peter Ho, and Huang Xiao Ming. I’m sure some of us remember the summer storm created during that time between the two ships. HAR HAR!
