With the same producer behind Hong Kong hit series, Triumph In The Skies, Mainland has their own version of aviation themed drama starring Chen Qiao En, Ryan Zheng Kai, and Zhu Zi Xiao called New Horizon (壮志高飞). Miss Chen will play flight attendant who then pursues a pilot career and meets two handsome men. Ryan plays a pilot who turned engineer after he accidentally caused the death of Zhu’s mother during a flight and carries that burden to retire as a pilot. Zhu Zi Xiao plays the prince of the airline company, of course the only company since everyone works under it. Lol!

So TVB’s “Triumph in the Sky” and ” Kdrama “Take care of us captain” mashed up together as one drama. Funny how TVB’s airline industry is spawning a different type of job as a hit drama.
I wonder if this will ve good, not familiat with the names of the actors except for one. But men in uniform and glasses is always a treat to look at in a drama.

Plot soinds like a mashup of TVB’s ” Triumph in the Sky” and Kdrama “Take care of us, Captain”. I wonder if this will be a good watch..some of the so called “remakes” aka…unofficial borrowing… in Mainland China drama’s were not that great for me..
