The Autumn Ballad (嫣语赋) follows the story of our heroine, an unfavored eldest daughter of the Qiu Manor. She’s betrothed to a man who dies on their wedding day. She’s blamed for his death and must use her intelligence to investigate the truth and re-write her own destiny. It looks like your typical mean boy in school who always picks on the girl he likes. Except in here, she also has lost her parents and suffers from amnesia and is given to his family to raise. They are like cat and dog, bickering non-stop. While he’s a legend at school, she doesn’t have much to offer. She decides to pursue a career in the medical field, thanks to a gentle close male friend. But a secret from the past comes back, threatening her belief of her current family.

Okay, okay. This remake looks pretty decent! Abundant of real outdoor scenes with waterfalls, mountains, and trees. The girls are gorgeous to look at and like I said last time, Zhu Xu Dan as Zhou Zhi Ruo is stealing all my attention without breaking a sweat. She has that cold beauty vibes going for her and I’m a sucker for it. Lol. Our hero played by Zeng Shun Xi worries me a little because he only has one expression throughout the trailer. xD To be fair though, Wu Ji the character isn’t very expressive…
