Rebirth (冰湖重生) is the sequel to the popular 2017 drama Princess Agents with Zhao Li Ying, Lin Geng Xin, and Shawn Dou. It’s adapted from the novel written by Xiao Xiang Dong Er. The sequel looks to follow what happened in the last episode of the prequel, after Zhuge Yue fell into the ice lake and our female lead is gonna take revenge at Yan Xun.
It’s nice to have Huang Yang Tian Tian reprised her role as Chu Qiao, as she was the younger version of Li Ying’s character in 2017. However, she’s also only 17 at the moment. The aesthetic looks better in this one for sure, since the original is quite colorful despite the dark contents.
