And confirmations are in! Modern drama about real estate, My True Friend (我的真朋友) has begun filming with Angelababy, Deng Lun, and Zhu Yi Long! Not much is known about the plot yet but it promises to tell a warm story through the protagonists’ sincere work style and life attitude. Beautiful cast members alright ~

Well, can you believe it’s been 3 years since The Lost Tomb 1 aired? Cast changes was announced a long time ago and the leading men are the new faces we have been seeing onscreen in last year’s numerous projects. Neo Hou Ming Hao (Cambrian Period) will play Wu Xie, and Cheng Yi (The Legend of Chusen) will play Zhang Qi Ling, and actress Li Man (War and Peace) will play A’Ning. The Lost Tomb 2 will focus on two chapters, Nu Hai Qian Sha and Qin Ling Shen Shu., which I don’t know what they are about yet. Lol. Anyone?
So sorry for the lack of updates guys, I was so tired every day after work. I would read the news and my head would droop onto my desk like it’s a thousand pounds. Someone is riding up the age ladder. Lol.
Indeed a pretty cast. If you like Li Yi Feng in republican spy drama Sparrow of last year, you might be interested in Fearless Whispers, his next drama project also in the republican period. He plays a young police graduate, who is idealistic and righteous, but findd himself cornered by colleagues at work. To make matters worst, he’s caught in the war between the communists and the nationalists, which slowly transforms him into an elite operative. Pretty generic plot for now. Other cast members include Gina Jin, Wang Long Zheng, and Niu Jun Feng.
There’s no easy romance in Sun Yi’s drama love life is there? Lol. Sun Yi (Seige In Fog) and Bai Jing Ting (Rush to the Dead Summer) have started filming for their upcoming melo romance adapted from the novel Irreplaceable Love (初晨是我故意忘记你) written by Zi Yue. Our male lead has a pitiful childhood, his parents passed away early and he’s passed from one relative to another, no permanent home nor familial love from his aunts and uncles. He meets his best friend who also has an older sister (Sun Yi) and they take him under their wings, treating him like family, until that faithful day when a big fire robs the life of his best friend, leaving behind a trail of agony and suffering. Our hero makes a drastic move and decides to take his best friend’s place in caring for the people he loves. Our heroine works hard and begins working at a big company where she meets the second male lead. She earns praises for her work and takes charge when potential father-in-law falls ill. However, the labor of her love is unrequited because on the day of their engagement, second male lead elopes with his ill parents and whatever money they have left, leaving our heroine to deal with the loan sharks. Not to worry! Our hero is always by her side, despite her not seeing his love…. he gets beaten by the loan sharks and as she nurses him back to good health, she realizes she has relied on him for too long, not realizing his shadow is cover up for his bleeding heart ~ [© Kappy @AVV]
