A lot of dramas began filming this week, here are some with good, decent booting ceremony pictures.
=======> ♦ The Baking Challenge (点心之路) with Wang Yan Lin and Zhao Xiao Tang. A comedy drama following our hero as a chef who recruits a group of talents to eventually become the King of Dim Sum!
=======> ♦ Different Princess (花青歌) with Song Yi Ren and Ding Ze Ren. Lol, Sang Sang is reunited with Long Qing!! The storyline is supposed to center around our heroine who is a writer and happens to enter her own novel.
=======> ♦ Love The Way You Are (爱情应该有的样子) with Angelababy and Lai Kuan Lin. The story is a romance between a 30+ year old female with a sunshine younger male lead. I did not know that Lai is only 19 years old. O_O Some sources say this is the remake of Kdrama Something in the Rain with Son Ye Jin and Jung Hae In in 2018.
=======> ♦ Novel-to-Drama adaptation of Hua Rong (花戎) with Ju Jing Yi and Guo Jun Chen. The novel is written by Lin Jia Cheng and follows the twisted romance between a phoenix and the god of the sun after going through many ups and downs within the three realms.
=======> ♦ Brotherhood of Blades: Shadow of Mountain and River (绣春刀山河之影) is the drama adaptation of movie Brotherhood of Blades with Sun Yi, Zhang Yun Long, and Chen Ruo Xuan.
=======> ♦ Based on the novel after Go Princess Go, Lang Jun Bu Ru Yi (郎君不如意) also began filming with Wu Xuan Yi and Chen Zhe Yuan. We all like a historical rom-com!
=======> ♦ Fu Tu Tower (浮图缘) is based on the novel written by Yan Yu Jiang Nan with Wang He Di and Chen Yu Qi.
=======> ♦ Zhang Bin Bin and Yu Shu Xin were seen filming for their upcoming drama, A little Forest for Two (literal translation, 两个人的小森林).

I also had no idea Lai Kuan Lin is only 19! I always thought he was much older @__@
I loved The Brotherhood of Blades movie so looking forward to the drama adaptation too.
Author
I know! It feels like he’s been around since forever. Lolol.
Hopefully these dramas will be good. They produced & released so many dramas for the last two years, but a lot of them are so terrible. I prefer quality over quantity. It would be better to produce good stories, great acting & directing dramas. Dramas that we can watch and still remember them. Thanks!
Wu Xuan Yi seems so thin, probably less than 45 kg in that photo
