Swords into Plowshares (太平年) follows the life of Qian Hong Chu, the last king of Wuyue during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period of China. He was known for the peaceful surrender to Northern Song dynasty, resulting in his regions/structures/economy being spared from the destruction of wars (hence the metaphorical drama title).
