Liu Yi Fei and Boran Jing entangle romantically in The Love of Hypnosis
The trailer surprises me a bit, didn’t expect the OTP scenes to be quite romantic, dramatic, and plentiful! Adapted from the novel Records of the Southern Mist House (南烟斋笔录), the official English title is The Love of Hypnosis with Boran Jing and Liu Yi Fei leading a solid cast.

What’s the occasion? Drama The Rise of Phoenixes drops a wagon of character stills just an hour ago. We usually get like 6 or 9 stills but over 20?! Thank-you for being generous production team! The rich and dark color palette stands out. SO PRETTY!
Sun Yi, Deng Lun’s Because of You broke 3 in ratings at finale night
Awwwwww yea! Black horse for the win! Loved it when a drama comes out of the corner and takes the lead in the ratings game, surpassing dramas with endless and heavier promotions. Because of You (因为遇见你) stars relatively new faces in Sun Yi and Deng Lun, also known as the alternative pair in modern youth drama, 15 Years of Migratory Birds. On its last episode (46), it made a record of 3.046, becoming the first drama of 2017 to break the 3 benchmark. It has an average rating of 1.93 for its entire run, leaving everyone else biting the dust.
Jiao Jun Yan’s Problematic Restaurant Solaso Bistro to air
Solaso Bistro (问题餐厅) is the remake of Japanese drama, A Restaurant with Many Problems (Mondai no Aru Restaurant, 问题のあるレストラン). The original drama follows our heroine who is fed up with the sexist world of the kitchen and restaurant and opens up her own restaurant….on a rooftop. Working with her are five women and one gay guy, all bringing their own flavor to the new melting pot, causing numerous conflicts and fights. Jiao Jun Yan is the head female of the problematic restaurant. She’s still proudly sporting the clean boy cut, and dare I say, she’s wicked handsome. Girl crush material right here!
Instead of a trailer we have a song by singer Chen Li from the OST. Very soothing. If you miss little A Li, he’s in here too. 😀
Sun Yi and Deng Lun stitch a sweet love in Because of You
Because of You (因为遇见你) is an upcoming modern cdrama starring rising faces, Sun Yi and Deng Lun, both were in Fifteen Years of Migratory Birds. Now they are united in a story of self discovery, lost parents, and a battleground for love and work between the young and the old. Careful! The veteran actresses might steal the scene with their craft and intensity but we have plenty of sweetness from the main couple. They are so cute, OMGAHHHH. Sweetest smiles. Watch the BTS, guys. Sun Yi, you dirty girl! LOL.
They revealed five songs from the soundtrack as well, sang by various Chinese pop singers.
