Li Kai Xin’s My Poseidon with Zhang Yun Long, and with Leon Lai in Overseas Security Officer

One of the new actresses that rose out of the batch last year was Li Kai Xin, who was in youth webdrama The Big Boss. As always, I haven’t watched that series so can’t say much except for a shallow comment that she’s really, really pretty and fresh-looking! Here are her two upcoming dramas, one just wrapped up and one just started filming.

Huang Jun Jie and Li Kai Xin lead youth drama The Big Boss

Upcoming youth drama, The Big Boss (班长大人), is adapted from manhua of the same name illustrated by Chen Lan and Chen Qian. It puts young stars Huang Jun Jie (Fox in the Screen) and Li Kai Xin (Solaso Bistro) back in students uniforms, because yunno that’s the time period we miss the most. Lol. As always they are polar opposites and have known each other since childhood.

They are ridiculously pretty. Like whooa!

Jiao Jun Yan’s Problematic Restaurant Solaso Bistro to air

Solaso Bistro (问题餐厅) is the remake of Japanese drama, A Restaurant with Many Problems (Mondai no Aru Restaurant, 问题のあるレストラン). The original drama follows our heroine who is fed up with the sexist world of the kitchen and restaurant and opens up her own restaurant….on a rooftop. Working with her are five women and one gay guy, all bringing their own flavor to the new melting pot, causing numerous conflicts and fights. Jiao Jun Yan is the head female of the problematic restaurant. She’s still proudly sporting the clean boy cut, and dare I say, she’s wicked handsome. Girl crush material right here!

Instead of a trailer we have a song by singer Chen Li from the OST. Very soothing. If you miss little A Li, he’s in here too. 😀

Jiao Jun Yan leads 5 unique ladies of Bistro Fou restaurant

Very interesting. Last year we have Ode To Joy with five different women on our screen and now we have another female-centered drama with them coming together in a restaurant. It’s a remake of Japanese drama, A Restaurant with Many Problems (Mondai no Aru Restaurant, 问题のあるレストラン). The original drama follows our heroine who is fed up with the sexist world of the kitchen and restaurant and opens up her own restaurant….on a rooftop. Working with her are five women and one gay guy, all bringing their own flavor to the new melting pot, causing numerous conflicts and fights. I haven’t watched the original so can’t say much but I’m really liking the synopsis! Jiao Jun Yan (currently in Dr. Qin Medical Examiner and The Legend of Chusen) is the head female of the problematic restaurant. She’s still proudly sporting the clean boy cut, and dare I say, she’s wicked handsome.

Cdrama: The Legend of Chusen (Jade Dynasty) OST

Uhmmm, well. My friend sent me an email and was like, “Did you watch the press conference of Chusen?” Me: “Of course not, I’m still on vacation (last day though. *sobs*).” Friend: “Well, they have a date on the cake…”

I hate to be the bearer of bad news ya’ll. August 8th. Remark your calendar! But I have a present to nurse your anger! hee!
