Needs to clarify some things. 1) Because of the rumor of low ratings resulting in cutting of episodes (from 111 to 60), the Glory team declared war against any who would spread false news. They clarified on weibo that Glory has always been only 60 episodes. However, part 2 (dun dun dun!) is still in post-production and will air some time in the future (rumor says 3/22 with 30 episodes.)
You know what this means right? They just pulled a Chusen on us. LOL. Splitting a season into 2 parts. *rolls eyes*
[This is a new feature we’re trying out! So everyone can gather and express their thoughts. We’re calling it Review It! If you have a request for some dramas to be reviewed in this manner, shoot me an email!]
Hey, hey, hey! One of the few watchers of Glory, and probably one of the slowest. Lol. Work and real life are not best friends with a blogging life. Bear with me as I really want to recap the first 10 episodes or so.
Guess what I did on my snow day off! Lol. I can’t wait to bite down into this historical romance piece. I thought I would be confused with all the names but I think I did well or maybe the show did well in introducing and letting the characters make an impression. But do double check for me as history isn’t my best forte!
Thanks for everyone for participating last time! I think this post will just be my random spazzing of everything under the sun, so feel free to rave and rant about anything and everything, and who knows you might find that one person who shares the same opinion. =D
Between Glory of Tang Dynasty (大唐荣耀) and Three Lives Three Worlds, I think the majority is anticipating 3L3W more, but I’m leaning towards Tang right now. The intensity of the trailers, the richness of the colors, and the excellent soulful singers they have on board got me! Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!
Opening themesongs are revealed for two dramas that will be contending in the ratings game with General and I nearing its last leg of episodes. Smart move to air earlier. Yang Mi‘s Three Lives Three Worlds Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms and Jing Tian‘s Glory of the Tang Dynasty. On the one hand, I still do not feel much for the OTP of 3L3W but their secondary and tertiary couples are looking cute and their songs are pretty on the dot to steal my little heart. On the other hand, while Tang Dynasty is on the down low with promos, I’m more inclined to check it out, thanks largely to the intense trailer, Jing Tian’s charms, and the wagon of cast members from Legend of Chusen. I need to see them in something worthwhile of their talents. Yes, that’s a shade at you, Chusen!
