=======> ♦ Looks like Meteor Garden 2018 has wrapped up filming! The latest behind-the-scene is reminiscent of the last scene in the original version where Shan Cai finally admits her feelings to Ming Si and they join singer Harlem Yu on the streets as he sings the opening themesong, “Can’t Help Falling In Love With You.” So much feels, let me tell you. Omg the Ming Lan stills!!! ZLY looks so pretty, I swear the casting from just looking at the actors is spot on. I’ve read a quarter of the novel and had to stop due to uni but ahhhhh I really feel the urge to finish the novel so I can saivour the drama. I think it’s still awhile away from finishing filming tho. Part of me wants it to drag on so I can have more time to finish reading lol

Forgot to say while I was so hyped about the Ming Lan stills, that seeing the Meteor Garden stills and the video has brought my tween heart out. I still remember watching the first Taiwanese version and going ga-ga over it. Plus that song! Ahhh all the feels are just coming out now, it’s like my teenage heart is remembering her first k-drama crush. Is it just me or does the height difference of our leads just seem so cute?

I also like seeing Wan Qian on screen. Also the veterans. Gosh looking forward to Cao Cao's portrayal by Tse Kwanho. I think I'm hyping it too much lol. Hope it will be solid since it's the same screenwriter from The Advisor Alliance.
As for ZLY's hairstyles… at least they made it clear when she got married/older versus when she's younger… that's all I will say about this lol.

I have been waiting with bated breath for Ming Lan and anything LY related. Nothing else seemed to be able to lure me. I tried watching DLRB drama but I just couldn’t concentrate. I tried YM/HZT and gave up coz I want YM to be paired with someone more mature. HZT looked like a kid with his big sister. Honestly YM deserved better pairing. Back to Minglan, I just absolutely adore LY’s look. She was so beautiful. They styled her and the other ladies really nice here. More authentic than those glaring and bright make-up in Palace dramas. Me like me like!!!!!!!!

I’m with u 100% with everything u said here..I think we’re LY deprived..I too tried watching Dili’s and YM’s dramas and just couldn’t get past epi. 1..since we won’t be seeing Minglan til next yr, hopefully OGT will come out soon.

Oh yes…..glad I am not the only one obsessed here LOL…..I did really tried to watch something else but couldn’t finish. So I ended up rewatching Chusen and Shan Shan for like the 50th time.

Li ying’s looks are growing on me. I suppose there is merit in releasing her stills slowly as they film. Lol. Heard filming will wrap up in April. Sadly I don’t think it should or will air this year. Fingers crossed we are able to at least watch glamorous times this year. I too really really missed her onscreen. For someone who films almost all year round I’m kinda sad we don’t get to see her dramas much🤣. I am accustomed to watching her drama at least once a year. I guess they like to air her drama during summer. On the other hand I see dilireba’s dramas airing left and right and also new ones keep poping up too…and wonder how she manages that…

Secret of the Three Kingdoms looks GOOD! Please let it be good. I need a costume C-Drama to fill the hole Nirvana in Fire 2 has left in my heart.

ZLY looks so pretty. I already know I’m going to have the biggest 2nd lead syndrome if I watch this. Nothing about FSF or his character is appealing to me.

I actually like LY hand aft marriage- am not fond of those bangs.
Now that we are saturated with DLRB, i miss ZLY even more- to this day im still praying for a good modern drama from her.
I’m glad for Elvis Han, the guy can act- so hope to see more works from him.
The cast of new Meteor Garden looks to be close n having fun- i look forward to watching this new version and thank goodness they stile Domyoji/ Tao Ming Tse better (the korean ver had the worst styling in my opinion).

Omg just imagine ZLY and Elvis as leads together….They would fit any period drama, plus double the pretty! OR Liu Hao Ran and Shen Yue in a youth drama! They would be so cute. Casting directors please make it happen!
