Drama-Binging: What Are You Watching? (23)
I can’t believe the last post of this series was in April! WHY? I’m sorry for the lack of updates. I have been so wicked with busy and personal life, it’s hard to stalk weibo news for drama updates. T_T What I did watch during my exercise sessions in the morning is an old TVB series called Angels of Mission with Charmaine Sheh, Sonjia Kwok, and Shirley Yeung. When I was younger, I loved this series and hated the ending, but now I dislike it and still hate the ending. LOL. The way the men and women treat each other in this series makes me lose hope in humanity and love. xD
In any case, just saw the trailer for live-action movie Mulan with Liu Yi Fei! Check it out after the jump!
Listening Snow Tower Ending: Has Qin Jun Jie mastered the arts of blood-spitting?
Some of our members are following this drama and were talking about the ending, so I figured I could take a look…then I stumbled on the hilarious edits made by fans of the Qin Jun Jie and Co. spitting blood. I couldn’t stop laughing. It made my day. The last time we spoke about the arts of blood-spitting was when Wallace Huo donated blood on the set of The Journey of Flower. Do you guys remember that post? It was in 2014!!
For the fun of it, let’s create a list of actor/actresses who can spit blood beautifully for the year-end awards. Heh.
First Impression: What do you think of The Legend of Phoenix with Jones Xu and He Hong Shan?
Upcoming palace drama, Legend of The Phoenix (凤弈) stars Jones Xu and He Hong Shan. Our female lead is a dancer in a troupe invited to perform in the palace for the Empress Dowager’s birthday but she gets into trouble with a princess (played by Liu Min) and is luckily saved by our male lead, an advisor. She never forgets about him and two years later, she becomes a palace maid, working under the Queen. She attracts the attention of the King and grows feelings for the unforgettable man. Inadvertently, she also becomes involved in the power battles of the palace (as usual). XD
The two look pretty cute in the trailers so here’s to hoping!
