Can’t get enough of Shawn after his Han Jiang performance so I’ll have no choice but to watch this drama. So glad he’s finally got his own spotlight.

The online novel platform and company that represents Priest mentioned a couple days ago that drama Guardian was scheduled to air during Chinese New Year holiday. A weibo just came out saying that the censors seem to be going after supernatural horror web dramas, along with others that they normally go after. IQYI drama Tientsin Mystic (河神) was suddenly ordered taken down for re-editing. A number of supernatural horror web dramas have “disappeared”. Not good.

Me too. Did they not know that censorship is killing creativity? Even if the production company can mask it with beautiful cinematography, it stills the same TV tropes marketing with differences actors and actresses.

My heart skipped a beat seeing Shawn in modern clothes, man is too damn good looking. But I still can’t stomach his modern dramas haha
Thanks so much for the Minglan stills, I’m super super excited for this drama. I’ve read a quarter way through the novel. I thought I was halfway through but then checked the future chapters and just died realising I’m not even halfway! The novel spans around 6 books, so I’m not suprised it’s getting 70 chapters. ZLY fits her character to a T, sorry can’t stop gushing, just so so so excited!
