Sparkling cast chemistry in new stills for Liu Tao’s Ode to Joy

Mentioned this two months ago, and have been compiling stills since then, so this will be image-heavy (when are they not? hehe). I originally thought we were gonna get a healthy dose of sisterhood (so lacking in Cdramas and everywhere else!) from this workplace drama, but from the stills, bromance is also in the game. This is icing on the cake because everything looks promising even if we might get one or more love triangles. Everyone is talented in their craft so I’m excited for what is to come! Finally, a modern drama that I’m eagerly anticipating!

Explosive trailer for Tong Li Ya’s Love Without A Trace

What a trailer. Our delicate-looking Tong Li Ya wields a sword and just slashes everyone in sight. Well, not everyone, all the bad seeds in a pot. And she looks absolutely stunning in every scene. But….so much crying. The drama also reunites her with Yang Shuo as the two did the intense period drama Woman in a Family of Swordsman in 2012. Rising actor, Guan Ying Peng (Princess of Lan Ling), also stars as one of the generals and third leg in the love triangle.

His drama adaptation of Tong Hua’ss novel, Secrets Hidden in Time (now known as Best Time (inept title)), just hits HunanTV station yesterday, November 20th! (Yui must be happy.) His second good news is the newly released trailer for the epic war drama, Warriors of the City, starring alongside Wang Like, Shuo Yang, and Ringo Yu.
