Well, if you’re a Wallace Chung‘s fan, like myself, you’re in a comfy seat. His drama adaptation of Tong Hua’ss novel, Secrets Hidden in Time (now known as Best Time (inept title)), just hits HunanTV station yesterday, November 20th! (Yui must be happy.) His second good news is the newly released trailer for the epic war drama, Warriors of the City, starring alongside Wang Like, Shuo Yang, and Ringo Yu.
I’ve been too occupied with Wallace’s Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils that I totally neglected his modern project, Secrets Hidden in Time. How shady is thy name, drama! I kid. But a drama with such name could only mean troubles. Lots of them. And then when I checked the synopsis, I stifled a laugh. Here’s my condensed version: A woman in her 30s meets the man of her dream. With desperation burning her bum, she leaves her career behind and gets hired in the same company as him. Lo and behold, her superior is not the man she desires, but a handsome prick (what she calls him – Wallace?!)…BLAHBLAHBLAH.
