LOL I watched the trailer and had NFI what the hell was going on. I went back to read your summary and now I sort of get it… LOL
Ma Ke is just awesome so I’ll watch this even though I dunno anybody else besides Ma Ke hahahaha 🙂
But yay for using real voices! 🙂 I will never get over the fact they’re dubbing Wang Kai in the Fox drama cuz like WTF this guy has ALWAYS dubbed his own voice and his voice acting is just AWESOME (and his voice also sounds very nice) … it’s like if somebody dubbed Hu Ge’s voice in a drama I’ll chuck a shit but anyway it’s Tangren so what can I expect? *SIGH*

In Ma Ke’s first character still (where he looks like he’s gonna cry) is so sad and adorable, makes me feel like he’s someone’s adorable pampered puppy who’s just been kicked then ran over by a bus.

I also just saw the trailer, and I thought it was cool. Actually, much better than the stills. I got impressed with Joe Xu! His Lang Gege (TJOF) was annoying, so I didn’t look forward to seeing him here, but now I do!

This could have been a role for Wang Kai who recently had the rumor mill going about being gay. And then coming back as Hu Ge who in real life experienced a terrible car accident and reborn as Mei Chang Su in Nirvana in Fire
