Let’s Shake It 2: Episodes 07-11 Recap

Linja saves the day!! My “Let’s Shake It” fansub partner and all around awesome person, Linja, helped me out soooo much with these recaps. Her language skills are much better than mine so please thank her in the comments as I think I would have needed another week to translate some of the dialogue in about half the scenes to understand everything that was going on. Thanks to her, though, you don’t have to wait for me to do that.

And because Photobucket is down, I’ve had to get a bit creative using YouTube and tried to use Flickr to illustrate the recaps so you wouldn’t have to wait any longer. Hopefully without the pictures, you can still enjoy the recaps. (UPDATE: Photobucket is back up!)

In these five episodes we’ve got giant wine glasses, Tang Qing Feng and the Princess get engaged, the assassin robot finally appears, we find out Dark TQF’s name, Abu dies and now Enid has second lead syndrome. Let’s begin the second half of Week 2!

Let’s Shake It 2: Episodes 01-02 Recap

Let’s Shake It was the first C-drama I ever watched without benefit of English subtitles (and after only six months of studying Mandarin) and I fell in love with the show right away. I’m so excited to get to see the second season of this romantic comedy and, since I watched the first season without translations and managed to follow it along pretty well, I decided I’d recap the second season without subs for those fans out there who want to know what happens and don’t want to have to wait for subs. Please let me know in the comments what you think about the series and what you are enjoying or wishing was better.

So bring on the Scavenger assassins, the chili peppers, the bricks and more braised pork galore. Let’s begin Week 01 of Let’s Shake It: Trouble on Planet Duo!

Reincarnation of The Super Star (Revive): Episode 1 Recap

Hi there! I’m a long time lurker, first time recapper. Kappy was kind enough to let me try this out and I’m super excited. Now onto the drama.

I haven’t read the novel this is based on, so I’m coming in with almost a blank slate. So far, I’m liking it. It’s fluffy, it’s dark, and everything and everyone is just so beautiful. And I’m always up for a little revenge drama.

YES! What a crazy ride! Very exciting trailer with a lot of emotions and drama for the hottest new face of 2015 Ma Ke to tackle! And it’s all the actors’ real voices (well, the Chinese actors at least)! A good start for 2016. Reincarnation (Reborn) of The Super Star is a webdrama adapted from the novel written by Qing Luo Shan Zi. Our Sha Jie Jie is a player in here, for he has both girls and boys running after him after his new face transformation. Are you ready?
