Princess Agents Discussion Post Week 6: Episodes 41 – 48

I’m in the minority, I do not want a second season, with or without the original cast. After the hellish world the director and writer put me through with 60+ episodes, why would I want them to do it again? They will possibly add more unnecessary plot lines to make it another 60+ production, with Chu Qiao fainting every episode, she might have amnesia again in season 2. Lol. Filming up to the ice lake arc is to me sufficient, it’s a defining moment where Chu Qiao knows about Yue’s feelings, the rest of the chapters…. more battles and Yan Xun’s cruelty. I don’t need those, either!

Anyway, this will be a tough week to watch as everything descends into madness. Hold on to your seat!

Princess Agents: Episodes 35 – 37 Recap “Foxy Prince’s Arrival.”

He’s here! He’s here! Our foxy Prince is here! Like a burst of fresh air. With everyone faces hanging on doom and gloom, it’s nice to see some smiles around. Why I adore Xiao Che so much in the novel: he’s a delightful mix of pre-massacre Yan Xun with his abundance of sunshine and Yue’s slyness and intelligence. Like the best candy in the world! ❤

Hu Ge’s Game of Hunting drops new trailer and stills, readies for broadcast

Need more of Hu Ge? Have no fear! He still has one drama left to his list that needs to air! Game of Hunting (猎场) held a press conference yesterday and drops new promos as it prepares for a tentative broadcast in August. The premise follows persistent man Zheng Qiu Dong (Hu Ge) in the finance world as he navigates through pitfalls and failures to rise above and enter the group of elite businessmen, with the help of his girlfriend (Jian Ren Zi) and best friend (Zu Feng). However, after an unfortunate event, Qiu Dong’s business falls apart and he has to start over from the beginning with the help of new alliances.

Like a reunion for all the hot Shu Shu. XD

Mike D. Angelo and Ju Jing Yi in Mr. Swimmer this summer

The second sports drama to come your way sometime this year is modern drama, Mr. Swimmer (游泳先生), starring Thai actor Mike D. Angelo (Wu Xin: The Monster Killer) and Ju Jing Yi (Detective Samoyeds) as a pair of bickering couple. He’s a genius swimmer talent with humble beginning and she’s a rich miss whose family takes a tumble. Her boyfriend for an unknown reason breaks up with her, and he’s the male lead’s good friend. The boys then begin to compete in every aspect of life, from love to career. They train strictly for their upcoming national swimming competition, and before the battle begins, good friend’s father threatens our male lead into losing the battle. To uphold justice and maintain honor and sportsmanship, good friend defends male lead and returns his reputation. Through many twists and turns, the three youths build a a sense of responsibility and perseverance, releasing an inner shine of outstanding youths.

Ohh. A trailer is finally out! Makes sense since they had a press conference today, but without the attendance of the male and female lead. The show-biz themed modern drama, Stairway To Stardom (逆袭之星途璀璨), features Song Yi and Push Puttichai in the glitz and glamorous entertainment world; one who is already at the top while the other one struggles to climb up the ladder. Broken friendships, seeds of jealousy, and many blooming romances await the fresh-faced rookies. There’s a scene in the trailer that gave me the heebee jeebee feelings. Ugh! Need a shower! STAT!

The title of this drama is like a decree of death or something. Lol. Stairways of any kinds in dramaland lead mostly to…. misfortunes.
