First set of posters are out for showbiz-themed idol drama, Stairway To Stardom (逆袭之星途璀璨), starring Thai Actor Push Puttichai and Chinese actress Song Yi. The title of this drama is like a decree of death or something. Lol. Stairways of any kinds in dramaland lead mostly to…. misfortunes. XD However, they found plenty of pretty to fill up the rookies and veterans roles.

Is China pretty open? I watched k-dramas, j-dramas, twdrama, and occasionally thai drama but Chinese drama is the only one I see them letting foreigners be leads. I know China recently banned koreans but do the Chinese audience mind that it’s not only Chinese actors acting? I never really watched those because the mouths/dubbing is weird…hmm nvm but to think about I think the only two productions I ever watched was Jang Nara’s The Bratty Princess and Mike’s Princess because it didn’t look weird to me. And oh hey, it’s that hot uncle from Novaland haha. 🙂

It used to be weird, but you get used to it. I even have some voice actors that I recognized and love.
