Waaaaaah!!! Novoland Eagle Flag is slated for June? For real? Please, please make it sooo!!!

Is the Golden Hairpin the period drama rumored to have Yang Zi before? If it is and if Kris Wu & Yang Chaoyue are indeed the leads, I’ll be quite disappointed 🙁

Tears in Heaven..really really?? I can’t wait for that shiw to air. Lin Qin is an awesome actress and it is time to watch Shawn Dou pining Over Lin qin after Princess Agent when Lin Qin has to be the one going for Shawn Dou. This would be a nice fan reimagining them in the modern area reincarnation of their Princess Agent characters… 🙂

Wow…I’m literally not excited about any of these updates except Novaland.

Insanely anticipating Novaland ever since finishing NiF2 when I became a solid, hard-core Liu HaoRan fan…lol.

But everything else…Strange what so many years of mediocre cdramaland with only a few gems per year has done to me. Like, half a decade ago, Silver Princess would’ve been pretty anticipated by me. I like the genre, I like Zhang XueYing, I like Luo YunXi…but somehow like nothing about the trailer, the stills, the summary is even remotely appealing to me right now. It seems like just another dog-blood idol-period-Mary-Sue period drama at this point. Maybe I’m super pessimistic.

I’m also kinda done with all the Youth dramas. Let’s be real; it’s hard to anticipate Youth dramas bc the general plot is always the same. It always comes down to like, the vibe/tone of the drama and the chemistry and fresh-ness of the actors…neither of which can really anticipate before-hand.

Not sure about Sparrow 2 bc I didn’t really like Sparrow…but I REALLY like the main cast so…who knows. I have high standards for this genre though, because it tends not to really be my thing.

Wait, actually I AM anticipating Tientsin Mystic 2 though. Am I a little disappointed Li Xian’s not returning? Heck yeah. But for me it doesn’t quite affect my anticipating as much because I loved TM for the vibe, the story, and totally totally the visual aspect. The directing and presentation is just so good. Even in the teaser of TM2, it’s beautiful. The colors, the shots, the camera-work. It just looks good. And the whole vibe/feel remains the same. So honestly. I think the production crew as a whole for TM 1 was as much a highlight as the cast, so I’m not too bummed out about them changing out one person (even though yes I would prefer LiXian).

Tears of Heaven ?!!!!!! Yes!!! I have been watching for this drama forever! I need to see Lin Qin and Shawn together again 🙂

Princess Silver along with Love and Destiny are the only two I’m interested in. Chang Chen in a drama? Yes please!

Luo YunXi in Princess Silver reminds me way too much of RunYu in Ashes, but he’s really easy on the eyes in both. Just hope this doesn’t flop.

Sparrow was enjoyable for me largely due to the wonderful cast and characters (not so much the story), but I think it’s time they give this era and genre a rest.

What do you think?
