Chinese Remake of Miho Nakayama’s Love Letter in the Making

Ooo, another Chinese adaptation of Japanese goodies. The classic story and highly rated Japanese movie, Love Letter, which hit theaters in 1995 and became a box-office hit will get a Chinese film remake. No names has been dropped yet either in directing or casting. Producing the movie will be under Dreams of the Dragon Pictures, which also produced The Man Behind the Courtyard House, Cloud Atlas, and Out of Control. I personally haven’t seen this movie before so can’t even throw out a few names for casting potentials.

Which actors do you think will fit the characters?

Live Action movie Fullmetal Alchemist featuring Ryosuke Yamada

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

My beloved anime, Fullmetal Alchemist (鋼の錬金術師), is adapted into a live action movie. Oiiiiiiiii! My heart is about to explode when I saw the first teaser, showing the beautiful wide shots of ruined cities, the horrifying transmutation circle, and a quick glance at our lovely brothers. You know it’s hard for animated characters to hit me at the heart but the heart-breaking journey featuring the Elric brothers always lands with moi very hard. They have a story to tell, a lesson to learn and to TEACH, and a courage no evil can stop.

My heart, be still.

Kenichi Matsuyama and Erika Toda return to Death Note Light Up the New World

It’s been 10 years since the first movie of the franchise came out (also Toda’s big screen’s debut)! I’ll be honest and say that I don’t remember 85% of the plot. I know there’s a book with power to kill anyone whose name is wriiten in it by the owner. And that Toda was raw and chubby at the time. That’s it. Lol.
